Magnus Amassing Muscle- Part 1

This month, Magnus has a new year's revolution to be the biggest and strongest Peace Keeper, to make sure Spyro never has to save him again. Enjoy!

For the first time in years, the Peace Keeper's World was actually at peace. In fact, all the dragon realms were at peace- and yet, Magnus felt somehow unsatisfied. The dragons had long been guardians of magical creatures and served as mighty champions- and for all that vaunted history, for the several past crises, they all had to rely on the grit and determination of a single dragon- a single artisan dragon. A single, adolescent artisan dragon. Spyro was a great kid, Magnus certainly agreed, and he was growing into a fine dragon- but what did it say of the Peace Keeper Order, the dragons tasked with fighting evil above all the other orders, that they needed to be saved multiple times by a whelp only a few years out of his shell?

Magnus shook his head. Was he getting too old? Was that it? No, no- he wasn't anywhere near being decrepit. He looked to his other Peace Keepers, who had all gotten… soft. He wasn't one to criticize on putting on extra weight, with a massive boulder gut he prided himself on- but there was a terrible feeling in the back of his head that the Peace Keepers would just sit back and let Spyro handle any threat. Well, not him- Magnus still had his pride, and he was going to make sure all the other dragons remembered it's the Peace Keepers who knew how to throw their weight around. He just needed to find something heavy enough to start lifting, and get back to some old exercises- the rest of the dragons would remember the Peace Keepers, but the Peace Keepers were going to have to remember which one of them was strongest.
