The investigation into the Blood Moon Bodybuilding incident continues, and it looks like the local lycanthropy problem is only getting bigger... enjoy, folks!
**************
The account of Lou "Chesty" Fuller, a retired bodybuilding legend in his own right and now a coach and gym owner, is one of the most fantastical eyewitness accounts surrounding the Blood Moon Bodybuilding Competition. After the disappearance of Mr. Fuller's own protege, Kurt Armstrong, the Competition was officially canceled by the organizers, to the dismay of the remaining participants. The same night the competition was canceled, however, Mr. Fuller's gym, the Power Arms Gym, was ransacked. It has long been assumed that Mr. Fuller's account was the result of hallucination or fabrication on Mr. Fuller's part, but recent evidence suggests that Mr. Fuller was telling the truth.
"A monster broke straight through the brickwall and just started ordering an entire pack of other monsters to start grabbing the biggest, heaviest weights- I never saw anything like it!" Mr. Fuller reports. "But when I got a good look at their leader, I couldn't believe it- it was little Davie Wilkes! I'd recognize that mullet anywhere. And he was huge. Biggest muscles I've ever seen in this sport."
If Mr. Fuller is to be believed, Davie's lycanthropy had carried him to new heights. Corroborating reports tell us that Davie had become a full blown alpha-class werewolf, capable of extraordinary feats of strength, with limbs thicker than tree trunks, arms with biceps larger than the average adult human head, shoulders like a mountain range, and a powerful, deep chest stronger than a brick wall and capable of producing a howl that could be heard for miles around. Based on the weights stolen from Mr. Fuller's gym, Davie was capable of bench-pressing the weight equivalent of a pick-up truck. Mr. Fuller also detailed how Davie distracted him with several bodybuilding poses to distract him, showcasing a back wider than the double doors of his gym, well sculpted glutes, and arms thicker than Mr. Fuller's chest at the height of his bodybuilding career. However, this was a rouse- Davie easily pounced and overpowered Mr. Fuller, leaving him with a bite on the shoulder.
The day after Mr. Fuller gave his testimony, he left abruptly, complaining about pain in his shoulder. He wasn't seen after that. The following day, graffiti in blood red paint defaced his gym windows, reading "The Blood Moon Rises," and "Mr. Blood Moon will be crowned." What these ominous warnings would lead to would haunt the competition for years to come.
