152 - Sunny Days
Added 2025-09-06 20:01:55 +0000 UTCidk why I did this with the sun glaring in my face it was like slowing down time in my head it felt like this pod was 2 hours long, I'm also sad cuz I skipped over so many things about the book that I wanted to touch on like his stutter I'm gonna be more thorough next time.

There should be more community, but it’s not bad to gain that relationship with yourself and spend time alone. In a way it makes real human connection more special.

It helps you to absorb it better. I used to work alongside the CEO of a very successful health food and supplement store and my name is literally summer :p please trust me on this. Plus technically vitamin D is a pro hormone so your liver converts it to a hormone, helping with testosterone levels in men.

2025-09-11 19:19:55 +0000 UTCVery interesting book, definitely not something I would usually read but I am very intrigued by the psyche of the main character.

2025-09-10 14:24:38 +0000 UTCit wasn't his parents who had an affair next to him i believe, it was his mother and the other guy he mentioned, and his father just kinda accepted it bc of his sickness

2025-09-09 09:17:09 +0000 UTCBook thoughts: main guy is such a freak weird villain in the making. Despite his weird nature, I think it’s really interesting to watch him descend into being evil and heartless. It’s a harderish read than what I normally read (I usually read books that I can just turn my brain off) however, I’m really enjoying reading outside my norm. I HATED the joy he got from stepping on that woman eww. Main character is truly the worst protagonist I’ve ever read but I can’t stop reading to see how worse he gets. This book does a good job showing you the perspective of someone truly insufferable with such a weird sick complex. Questions I have: the milk scene…wtf? Many other scenes…wtf? Is his stutter a metaphor for something or just a “weakness” he has? I was so confused about what was happening in the scene with his family sleeping in the mosquito net, what was actually happening there?

2025-09-06 21:29:44 +0000 UTCI can't believe I'm reading a book but I look up to you like a hero so here I am. So far the book is really tickling my brain in a good way, something i definitely don't do enough of. Plus its nice knowing im sharing an experience with others out there and especially you, Hamzah. Sorry if I'm glazing a lot but I notice that you don't like to give yourself enough credit for being a role model to others. Open ur eyes king u da goat
