Maybe minor spoilers here and there are sprinkled in them, but mostly they showcase new characters we'll meet and moments to look forward to/get hyped about. I watched every opening and never felt spoiled, just excited for what's to come. I also feel the same about the episode titles. Read them. They are there for a reason. But I understand I'm in the minority on my views of these 2 topics and it annoys me greatly...

Except it's not "make" it's "maki" which is part of the handle wrap. I think this is what he is talking about. I thought he was talking about the sharkskin but it's probably the hilt part... and also as we see it, the hilt is solid black... So he means the "ma-ke" or "ma-ki" or tsuka-maki... which is the typical wrap... except this is not wrapped. I'll look at it on Zoro's belt...

Bleach MHA Naruto Naruto Shippuuden Fire Force Vinland Saga Black Clover Those are just the once I could think of right now. If we inlcude 3rd or 4th OP to be better than the first then my list would be endless :D
