Peoples just wishing to see jinwoo aura farm before his awake mother had me laughing so hard. + even if jinwoo really cry less in the manhwa, I think it's an improvement on the part of the anime. And I say that as a manhwa reader. Let my boy have emotions! My favorite episode if you ask me. On another note, I really like how you take time to analyse what you see and try to make sens of it and predict some things. Your not here just for the fight and aura farming, and that's cool.

2025-03-11 03:24:44 +0000 UTCthere's definitely some things the anime fails on. minor, but definitely important. when Goto hits Jinwoo and cuts him, in the manwha it pops up an alert detecting "killing intent", so Jinwoo actually tries harder here to avoid the system giving him a task to "eliminate the threat" like before. he def doesn't want to off Japan's #1 s rank hunter

Bringing up certain things after the fact is great. A good example would be to point out why Jin Soo said he would only spar if his opponent doesnt hold back, but being whiny c@nts about it is just too annoying.

The night before he passed away, I didn't say good night or I love you....I can't tell you how fucked up that has me. It's been like four weeks and it still hurts like he'll, I still get a pit in my stomach thinking of it. Needless to say that last episode hit Hella diffrent.

2025-03-09 19:43:54 +0000 UTCSomething else they didn't include in this episode (and i doubt it will be in the next) is that Jinwoo comes across a killer in his neighborhood and threatens and terrifies the f outta him. Oh, and the family scene with Jinwoo was of them cleaning the house (after mom came back to a mess. hah) and there were some funny moments (which they removed so many from the anime unfortunately) and they also talked about Jinwoo's dad a bit.

Also additional details: Yoon-Ho had to go full white hair mode and Cha He-in activate her ability to even attempt to hold Jinwoo back, which was pretty cool.

2025-03-09 09:04:41 +0000 UTCAbsolutely. I think a large part of the readership loves Jinwoo for being that strong (willed) character and maybe emphasize too much onto that point. Crying - especially for a grown up man is sadly still seem as a show of weakness by many people and in some (sub)cultures. A crying Jinwoo - for some - is sth they dont want to see for whatever reasons. Personally, as a reader who followed jinwoo from the first publishment of chapter 1, love the adaptions of the anime. To see him kind of breakdown emotionally is a beautiful thing to watch because it shows his struggles, the burden he carried as well as his hopes and wishes. To me the scene was beautiful for many many reasons and much more impactful than in the manhwa. That aside i wholeheartedly agree with the take that manhwa and anime are different mediums.

I really like that this anime can show those moments (like Jinwoo crying) which makes it seem more real and impactful. It just adds a layer of depth that makes it better. As someone who’s read the entire manwha I’m even happier with how well the anime is expanding its awesomeness.
