2025-04-02 13:49:13 +0000 UTCI love that Japanese uses “pinch”, or “pinchi”, in that old fashioned way. It always cheers me up whenever I hear, “Dai pinchi desu!” I guess they have it from baseball. There’s something called a pinch hitter, right? lol I don’t know baseball because it isn’t played in my country. That’s all my knowledge of the game right there lol I never thought about it before rewatching Matsuda’s fall but years after this was made an episode of Sherlock, the series with Benedict Cumberbatch, used that same mattress out the window scenario as a possible method of Sherlock faking his death plunge from the hospital roof. I hope they got it from this series.
