By the way, I'm very happy for you that the ending theme is quite dark. I know how triggered you get by a happy little pop song at the end of a tense scene lol. Personally, some of these episodes can get so tense that I really start to appreciate the happy distractions other animes have... but I much prefer it this way if I'm honest.

2024-12-18 21:22:57 +0000 UTCI love L's design. Ryuk and Light straight up tell us that they are bored which is why they are doing what they are doing. L doesn't need us to tell that he is bored. He *looks* bored. And that's also why he only takes on high class challenging cases. Anything else would bore him to much. His mindset is actually very similar to Light, but he doesn't have a god complex and he chooses to use his intellect for good. All of that is perfectly reflected in his design in my opinion.
