2024-10-20 21:18:14 +0000 UTCAn interesting foreshadowing moment fans have talked about (but also it’s not totally proven) is that when Aizen defected from the Soul Society, as he’s rising up into the Garganta he addresses Ukitake and says something like “From the beginning, no one has ever stood at the top. Neither you, nor me, nor the gods. I alone will stand at the top”. Fans think it’s interesting that he addressed Ukitake and implied he could stand at the top. As though he knew about Mimihagi and the connection to the Soul King.

2024-10-19 23:28:38 +0000 UTCA lot packed into this ep, old bleach would've dragged it out to be 5 episodes haha, I'm appreciating the faster pace. Cool seeing flashback of Ukitake and Shunsui's friendship and how certain captains and lieutenants are very close with each other, everybody especially seems to love Ukitake.
