I'm glad Arnold explained Inumaki's cursed speech, I also wanted to add in: the wear on his throat is also influenced by how powerful the words he uses are. So, say he's fighting a weaker curse, if he commands "stop moving", that will have much less drawback than if he commands something OP like "die" or "explode". So, it's a combination of his opponent's strength and the power of the words he uses that determines the damage done to his throat/vocal chords in return.

Just to clear things up about Black Flash. Itβs a move any sorcerer can potentially do, think like a critical hit in a video game. Also the power of the hit is to the power of 2.5 not multiplied by 2.5 like the subtitles say, so itβs a very strong hit

Inumaki's cursed speech has a drawback. If the difference in strength between him and the person/curse he's trying to compel is too big (opponent is stronger) even simple words wear down his vocal cords and can cause self injury/harm.
Also you doing the "BROTHER!" kick had me rolling hahaha
