Jinho deserves a little more credit for being the noble, if naive, fellow that he is. When he went to defend Jinwoo he had every intention of putting his money where his mouth was. Yeah he knew Jinwoo was a badass, but I think even if he hadn't he'd have tried to defend him.

Aw in case you guys didn't see the reaction until the end, she actually ask for it (wondering if it's a twin or an older brother or something) so I used that line to explain to her because I don't remember if the subtitles of the previous episode said it clearly enough since she didn't remember it :)

He also does mention that he is the older brother in ep 5 when they first found the mana crystals in the english subs so we did technically already know that.

The Ost enhanced the scene so much more.

Thanks for the video! I love your summary at the end - especially when you said that the boy is now a man and the man is murderous. To me it is the theme of the entire episode - the loss of his innocence, or rather the part of humanity inside of him that's being numbed.
Though it doesn't seem like it, he actually has a choice to make. Sure, the alternative would be dying, but in converse conclusion he commits to cold-blooded murder and I love the effort the studio put into that sequence. What really elevated it was the perfect synergy of voice acting, the music and the visual power.
One can literally see how much Jin-Woo dislikes what he's doing and that he's in pain. But he made his choice and now he has to see it through - no matter the prize. He'll have to bear the weight of his actions, no matter how justified we think they are. What makes matters even worse for Jin-Woo is his use of the dagger. Every murder he committed was close, very personal, and intimate. There's no way sth like this wouldn't affect his mind. And he did it six times. That's awful for him.

NOT A SPOLIER : The guy Jinwoo killed talked about a "brother" in english but in japanese you can hear him say "little brother" so he was the older one !
