Recap and plans

Here is  a quick recaps of things regarding Orionart, and the plans for the months to come.

The Zelda Comic is a financial failure

:o :o - I invested some money into it's production (for colors, translations, and the cover) and so far it has made less than I put into it. It's not a big deal as I liked working on it and maybe it is mostly due to the "marketing" of it. But I will have to keep that in mind for future projects, especially comics, I would like to explore this way to tell stories (I feel like it would be a nice way to make more complex and interesting stories) but I'll have to see if I can make a comic that will be as successful as "Lara's Curse 2" that is breaking all records so far (maybe Lara's Curse 3 ? XD ). We will see !

Making more personal stuff (Chris & Neo)

It's something that I have struggled with for quite some time : with the Increase of quality and ambitions of my fanart sets, I haven't taken the time to do much personal stories as I was afraid that too much delay between fanart polls would be dishonest with what the tiers are promising to you all (what would be the gain to be a veteran traveler if you can't vote for 1 or 2 months ?). But I think I found ways to deal with this issue : I will take out the distinction between fanart and personal stuff, work on some short stories alongside the "fanarts" that will also work with polls and introduce recurring characters to create some continuity between all stories.

My first "real" comicbook is going to be released soon

My main "sfw" job is to work with a team on some scifi comics, the first volume is going to be released during a book-fair in the days to come. It is the culmination of 1 year of hard work. So I won't be streaming/working on Orionart's stuff from today to the 9th.

Some infos for future posts and plans

That's pretty much it,

Have a good day !
