After 7 months...

Hey guys, I wanted to make a quick recap of that adventure I started 7 months ago or so.

When I started I had no idea of how things would go, I had no experience whatsoever in selling stuff online and having a patreon. And now with the combined forces of this Patreon account and my Gumroad selling I am getting close to be able to pay for a small rent and basic life expenses. Which is pretty amazing to me !

So I decided to move on in another place, taking a room in a shared apartment closer to the center of the city I live in, leaving the previous one that was cheaper but also in a crappier place (right next to a nightclub, with drugs and fights around). And I just finished putting the little stuff I have in order. So far everything is pretty cool here, I still have to deal with weak internet (which is why I won't stream in the next days or so) but that will be solved shortly.

With all that, I'm also having cool sfw opportunities: I joined a new pre-production studio as storyboarder/concept-artist that is starting to have contracts on movies, I'm stating to work on a webtoon with a friend for a big editor in my home country (which is the first exploitation of a fantasy world we have been working on the past 7 months full time)... and of course the nsfw stuff here.

To give you some context about me, I have been drifting for the past 2 years, searching for opportunities and work, being uncertain of where to go and what to do. I felt (and still do a little bit) pretty lost about what to do with my life, but things are progressively falling into place, I'm gaining confidence in my abilities and so I decided to take more responsibilities to get out of that immobility that I feel I have been in for way too long. And OrionArt is part of that process !

I don't know what exactly made you pledge here, I suppose you share the same liking for fetishes of creatures, xenomorphs and growing titties. And it doesn't matter, as you still take part in a process that is helping me getting a better life. So here are a few thoughts I wanted to share, to make things as clear as possible, the last thing I want is people feeling tricked. 

OrionArt's philosophies 

• WIN WIN : I'm here to make a profit but not at all cost ! Compromises are important but principles are too. So I want to stay focused on quality improvement, may it be technical or artistic. If I want to trust you to give me your hard earned money, you can trust me to give you the best I have to offer.
• CRYSTAL CLEAR : I really want to work on getting as clear as possible with my audience, it's easy to get sloppy and forget some important details here and there. It's the point that scares me the most as I tend to get sloppy with time and have a chaotic life. 
• DOING WHAT I LIKE : OrionArt is going to evolve with time, as I will experiment with stuff and explore new fetishes and worlds. But I will never deny my fans satisfaction: if I have new things to propose, it will be my job to convince you that it is worth it by doing quality work. 
• EXPANDING : OrionArt is my personal thing, I'm in charge (compared to other more collaborative projects that I have) and I want to see it grow as much as possible while keeping control of it. Also I said it is "my thing" but as our relationship will evolve, it might become way more. And in the world of today, and the powers of the Internet, the sky is the limit.
• EXCHANGING : I don't want to be alone in my corner ! You are not just people that give me money, you are also potential advocates, supporters, and also feedback givers. You are the best source of information that I have to know how well I'm doing. And in fact, I will go further and acknowledge that the success of OrionArt will greatly depend on our relationship.

• Archives will be up soon, in the days to come !
• I'm going to make an archive with the progress of Rachni Love for Actors, Even tho it isn't finished yet. I want to avoid you feeling like you don't have value out of your 4$ pledge.
• I'm collaborating with a french traducer to make my stuff available in french, I'm going to test an affiliation system with him on Gumroad. Depending on how it works out, I may expand it.

So here it is, after 7 months, things are great !
