Any time he's exposed to it it's literally poisoning the air around him and poisoning his entire body. Usually short exposures are no problem, but prolonged exposure is fatal.

2025-08-15 17:44:09 +0000 UTCGlad y'all dug it! Loved it too! To answer Chance- yeah this is the most personality a movie Superman has had in a long time. The last Superman movie Man of Steel (2013) he was a lot more 'broody' and portrayed like a God. James Gunn wanted to make his Superman like from the comics he's read; emphasis on his humanity and well-rounded personality. To clarify a mix up about Rick Flag but him in this movie is Rick Flag Sr. the one from Creature Commandos who is the father to Rick Flag Jr. the one from The Suicide Squad killed by Peacemaker. And as far as canon y'all are good since Creature Commandos & Superman are the first 2 projects in the new 'DCU' and Gunn's other stuff like The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker that were made during the time of the 'DCEU' will carry over some of the same story lines like Rick Flag Jr.'s death for example was referenced in Creature Commandos. We might see what else remains canon in Peacemaker Season 2 like that Justice League cameo at the end of Season 1 can't be canon since the League doesn't exist yet in the 'DCU' (like 99% of Peacemaker S1's canon besides tiny things it seems according to Gunn's recent podcast on the show). Other than that stuff the universe is pretty much a reboot.
