Also thats Connie said Its A Not Now olso could Hint that Steven Universe is getting another Season of Future or Rebecca Sugar was going to Make it or had Plans For it.

I'm pretty sure the kiss on the cheek in the first episode of future means they ARE, in fact, dating. (And saying friends can also hold hands at 16 IS WILD 😂) Connie's reaction to the proposal not being "I had no idea you felt this way about me!" kinda proves that for me. Feelings have at least already been expressed before the proposal. But, it's still a kids show, so they aren't going to do a lot of other things to demonstrate that they're DATING, ya'know? They have to keep it kinda subtle and innocent.
