2024-12-15 20:05:25 +0000 UTCThere’s a theory I’ve heard a little while ago. In the beginning on the Movie all the animals were migrating south I believe and Manny was heading the opposite way. When Sid first encountered Manny it was on top of a cliff or on the mountain side. It definitely looked like he was contemplating about maybe committing suicide. The Saber Tooth Tigers mentioned Mammoths come in groups except for Manny. The scene where Manny is seeing the drawings on the wall could be a hint that Manny also witnessed losing his family and home to hunters. It really explains his attitude and mood in the beginning of the movie.

2024-12-12 02:54:58 +0000 UTCIt wasn't Manny's parents that died it was his baby and his wife that were killed by the humans. Also the company that made this movie is called Blue sky which shut down a couple years ago which I think is bought by Disney now.
