Evil Inc Shareholder report: Reveals, Reputations, and Radiant Virtue
Added 2025-08-02 18:30:02 +0000 UTCIt’s going to be a very revealing week! Before we get into it, I’ll warn you there are minor Evil Inc spoilers ahead. And, as always, I’ll give you a heads up before I start talking about After Dark stuff!
Evil Inc: Coming Up Next
The current storyline has been dominated by the presence of a corporate spy. In the beginning, all fingers were pointed in one direction.

But very soon, suspicions turned to the bull elephant in the room, a himbo minotaur named Angus.

However, this week, we’ll find out the real source behind the recent espionage, and the folks who solve the mystery might just surprise you as well! Buckle up!
Fantastic Four
My family and I went to see The Fantastic Four: First Steps yesterday, and I was overjoyed. Don’t worry. I’m not going to spoil it. But I will tell you that it’s the best superhero movie I’ve seen in years. Superman was terrific, but this one had me captivated. Although it probably goes without saying by do yourself a favor and stay all the way to the end of the credits. 😭
ComicLab
ComicLab, the weekly podcast I do with my friend Dave Kellett is quickly approaching its 400th episode! (800, if you include the weekly Pro Tips exclusives.) On this week’s show, a listener asks how he can develop an art style — as quickly as possible! Your Humble Hosts have some very bad news for him. Next, a cartoonist asks whether it's a good idea to start a second social-media account to share personal views.
Coming up next, we’ll celebrate the 40th anniversary of the syndicated comic strip, Luann, with Greg and Karen Evans. You can listen to the show at comiclabpodcast.com, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts.

Evil Inc After Dark: Coming soon
A new EiAD storyline is starting. This was was written by an Evil Inc reader as part of his Kickstarter pledge, and it’s a barn-burner! We’ll also have another peek at what was happening during karaoke night, and another Flash Fiction. (More on that in a moment.) Finally, I have a few more DnD-themed bonus cartoons to share.

Uncensored Artists
Recently, Itch.io was forced to delist several NSFW games and comics (including Evil Inc After Dark) under pressure from an activist group. In response, I’ve started a newsletter to share advocacy, resources, and real talk for creators and fans of adult content who are navigating censorship, deplatforming, and other hurdles facing the business of NSFW art. You can subscribe here and find out how to get involved.
Evil Inc Flash Fictions

Recently, I started releasing Evil Inc Flash Fictions. These are short stories accompanied by a single illustration, and they’re perfect for a quick five-minute respite from the outside world. The next story involves a paladin, a vow of chastity, and a mimic on a mission. Here’s an excerpt.
The Temple of Radiant Virtue sat on a cliffside, high above temptation and low-cut tunics. Within its limestone walls, twelve young paladin initiates knelt inside, chanting oaths of celibacy, patience, and sacred restraint. Most of them meant it.
Brother Ellian, however, was not most of them. It was day three of the annual Purity Retreat, and the young paladin was twitchy.
Three days of cold beds, cold baths, and colder discipline. His mind was clouded with fantasies of supple barmaids, slippery tieflings, and anything wet.
That was before it arrived.
She crept in late one evening through the reliquary vent — a Mimic with a faulty moral compass.
Her parents had begged her to blend in as a treasure chest, maybe a nice bench. But she had desires. Tingly desires.
