TXT SBS Gayo Daejeon 2025 Day 2 'Beautiful Strangers + Upside Down Kiss' | Reaction and Commentary

Why were they performing on two different stages? Apart from that question, it was a very lively, very stable, and very good performance!

TXT SBS Gayo Daejeon 2025 Day 2 'Beautiful Strangers + Upside Down Kiss' | Reaction and Commentary

Comments

I don't know the detailed reason, but since their concept is like a boy in a fairy tale, they seem to perform mainly on their own without backup dancers. I don't feel the need to set up a backup dancer because it's not even an award ceremony held at the end of the year. Anyway, I enjoyed your reaction.❤️❤️

Yes, Beautiful Strangers was prerecorded (Yeonjun was the mc for this program and SBS is obsessed with txt and gave them a comeback stage, since it was first week of their promotions). Upside down Kiss and Love Language were performed at gayo daejeon Big hit rarely gives txt back up dancers for events like this even for their own concerts. It’s annoying and something majority of the fandom doesn’t like.

Joy

So we not going to talk about how Yeonjun just said "don't give a shit" on a national tv, while the original lyric is "don't give a thing" maybe it's an explicit ver. 🤣 For why they don't have backup dancers we can't say for sure. But honestly, you need to keep in mind that Bighit way of treating TXT is always have been weird. It makes so many MOA sad, cuz it's ridiculous how they are under the richest Kpop company on the planet, but when it comes to txt bighit start acting poor, they literally make baer minimum for them sometimes, when companies way smaller invest way more and get benefits. Especially in PR manegment, it looks like with each year bighit put less money in their brand management, as if they have actual reason to save money, cuz they not even able to upload the same videon on all platforms for so reason, essentially txt almost always left out from potential hype 😩 But I guess differen companies have different strategies in investing for groups. For babymonster, they are YG, YG was always known for their crazy investment in visual expects. I read analysis about it, YG's ultimate strategy have always been "fake it till you make it", they always make their groups LOOK rich, popular, and exclusive, even if they are not actually yet. And in my opinion it's a good strategy cuz it works. For example Black Pink had a tour with performance on "Stadium" when In reality it's Arean, but stadium is a part of the Arean's name. So this way they showcase general public that the group is that big when they actually not reached it yet. But I know that YG is also not good with pr, but they are kings of Brand management. I would say YG group, like a Luxury brands, you don't need ad on tv to know about them. So for baby monster, maybe the intention was to make it look big and grandiose, cuz as far as I know they don't have concept, so they can do whatever, when txt have concept and image that they should maintain in all their performances. Also this is a little hack about performances. When it's a big group of people dancing at the same time, the permissible level of mistakes in dancing is higher, cuz if one person from 13 make a mistake you will probably will not notice it, but when it's 5 or less people, the groups is practically have to be on point with their dancing. I am not saying this to hate on someone's dance skills, it's a just a realistic practice that is not that harmful even if you are good dancer. I guess that's why soloist like to use backup dancers so much

Yeonjun Voting

Yes, they said comments and then did a love language performance. The reason they used two different stages, they pre-recorded for their fans a few days before the show because Yeonjun was the MC and it was the first week of TXT's comeback. So unlike other groups, you can see that there is a special set. (I used a translator. There may be parts that are not translated well 🥲)
