In fact, the original concept was the minotaur and his girlfriend getting lost in a corn maze! And even after I scrapped that, the final punchline for the piece went through dozens of re-writes. The audio is from the ComicLab podcast, where Dave and I argue over whether we'd pay eight bucks a month to continue posting on Twitter.
