2025-07-18 21:29:57 +0000 UTCMost commonly it detects an .exe as a false positive even 1 hidden 1 layer inside a folder. You should be able to tell windows defender "More options" then select "Download anyway" or like me disable windows defender after installing a better antivirus (my choice is Malwarebytes Pro because most virus writers don't realize it's also a great AV even the free version is better than Windows defender but you have to religiously scan every download).
