SPOILED 2 - part two: Bonus Sketches
Added 2024-06-20 13:31:01 +0000 UTCNot gonna lie - the image of Manni caressing Arthur's massive ball belly from behind is one of my favourite drawings I've made of these guys. Again, positioning the two of them to best show off their physiques took some figuring out. As did the Reece and Lucas scene. It can be challenging, illustrating a simple conversation between two characters because it can easily devolve into something boring-looking. What I try to do is show off their personalities through body language and facial expression, and keep the camera angle interesting, giving a little flavour of their situation through background details.

2024-07-01 13:49:13 +0000 UTCYour facial skills are impeccable, Lokitu - the Arthur/Manni picture is incredibly romantic, the Reece and Reece/Lucas pictures extremely evocative. In every case, we get clear indications of their emotional states (and even personalities) from their expressions. I love the fact that Reece is mostly in shadow in both shots, showing he is clearly a man with dark designs....Just wonderful! xxx
