I was wondering of some way to rationalize that. The stroking spiral was a new ability, so I thought he might as well have learned other ones. In the show he was trying to learn to duplicate himself like Vlad could [although I don't recall if he ever was able to master it...] But maybe instead he was able to alter the size of parts of his body? (Kind of like Spinel from Steven Universe so get all wacky and cartoony with attacks) And then the XXXrated version of that method would be what he does here π Guess that's the only was I can rationalize it
