I went a little abstract with part of the statue, so my apologies if it was a little confusing at first. I had an idea that the base would be more like rock with souls in it that extends up into a kind of wing,, but it’s open to interpretation.

2022-07-04 12:05:18 +0000 UTCIt took me a while (and a thorough reading of the chapter) before I fully understood what I was seeing with the demonic statue - until DeltaC mentioned the souls showing through the flames I didn't spot them at all! A subtly-drawn and evocative creation, Lokitu - and speaking of evocative, the picture of Arthur and Manni is simply gorgeous. I have an inchoate longing to be one or both of the participants in that lovely picture....

2022-07-03 22:57:38 +0000 UTCThe amount of cake in this chapter 👨🍳 💋 XD. So happy to see Arthur and Manni together like this. I need a fiat they look so darn spacious lol. I just love the demonic statue all three arms and all. Oh and the souls along the base so magnificent!!! I doubt it actually went down like that in the story reality but damn if it isn’t amazing to see. Also, I think this is the first depiction we see of the devil. Up to this point I think we have only see side views or it with its back to us the reader.
