Dadbod, part 9 - Sketches

I've included my early sketches of Yoichi with this post here. I didn't want to show these off any earlier, so as not to spoil the fact that he is 'established' as Richard's boyfriend. The older man sketch is of illustrator Yoichi Kotabe - a very influential artist to me, so I wanted to honor him by naming Yoichi after him (and giving Yoi his glasses too). The bottom picture was sketched simply to act as a height chart, and to give a sense of Yoi's body-shape early on in development. Yoichi's design was always meant to come across as big and strong, with a cool exterior, yet also give off a sense of happiness and warmth.
