Speaking from experience, forcing yourself to become what you think other people want you to be never works out unless YOU want it for yourself. I've been there - not in the same sense as Max, but there nonetheless - and it screwed my life up completely when my mask finally slipped off. This is powerful writing, Lokitu. I hope Max & Roy can work things out like adults, and that love will endure in an equal partnership. I love this story. xxx
