After the first time I saw this, I always skipped the Frodo arc. It's just Frodo, Sam and Gollum bickering and arguing, and boring as hell to me. I think this movie would have been much better without 75% of the Mordor scenes.
We will swear to serve Saruman. All they needed was a Klingon knife. A rip off from Star Trek TNG.
When the Ent woke up, I was thinking, "You're not in OZ any more Pip." and "Who'd want YOUR apples!"
Continuity: Where did Gandalf get the white robe? Where was his hat? Then where did he get is gray robe? Sometimes I notice minuscule details that don't matter, I suppose.
People in Europe (well, at least in West Germany when I lived over there) looked down on and frowned at the GIs over there. A few soldiers made a bad reputation for all soldiers over there, and that's sad. Except on the East/West German border. The people there still had family inside the Iron Curtain, and they appreciated us being there.
I've always wondered if it's hard to act like a corpse? It seems like you have to lay there without breathing or moving. That could be hard to do. Or do they teach that in acting school?
I've always just wondered why they didn't just take the ring with them over the sea to Elf land? Of course, that would have ruined the story, I suppose.

“There is some good in this world Mr. Frodo and it’s worth fighting for”
As beautiful as the imagery, acting, score, and words are, it’s the heart of these films that endures.
