Dave's a killer!!! and so is this movie. Your reaction of pure joy during the hockey fights were amazing. Now try another 70's sports comedy - North Dallas Forty (1979) pro football story w/ Nick Nolte and Mac Davis.

2025-05-30 23:25:25 +0000 UTCI decided to rewatch this since it's been a while. Sorry, but I'm a Rangers' fan. But, believe it or not, my favorite player was Ron Hextall of the Flyers. And here's my favorite moment in hockey: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dd_csODF64E This is a fantastic movie. I nearly fell in the floor laughing more than a few times. The Hanson Brothers are still around believe it or not and do charity shows occasionally.

2025-05-30 22:47:19 +0000 UTCThe Hanson brothers were played by two brothers, Steve and Jeff Carlson, plus Dave Hanson. Dave Hanson actually replaced the third brother, Jack Carlson, because he was called up to his WHA team before filming. He actually played over 500 games in the WHA and NHL.
