All my life I always had coaches and teachers that told me I was dumb and I was never gunna make it. F*** all those who tell you no and keep knocking you down. If you work hard, believe in yourself and are a good person, you can do anything.
I love this story of self-determination and self-belief. Inspirational stuff.
One of my fave movies ever. Sometimes the simplest of human stories hits the hardest punch.

2025-02-11 23:50:51 +0000 UTCI haven’t watched the Rocky films in years so it’s great to do it again! These were on cable for years so I remember them. The next one is awesome. Happy to hear you’ve seen Over the Top! Stallone has done so many “Under the Radar” films but always gives his best. Among my favorites are Oscar, Judge Dredd and Demolition Man.
