Some I have seen: Elf, The Holiday, It's a Wonderful Life, NL Christmas Vacation, A Christmas Story, The Grinch (Jim Carey), Gremlins, Happiest Season, Batman Returns, Love Actually, The Family Stone, Little Women, Home Alone (but not since a kid), Klaus, The Polar Express, The Sound of Music (not an Xmas movie but lots watch it this time of year?). I have also seen Die Hard 1x been years could re-watch.

I concur! The Snowman is something of a Christmas tradition over here in the UK and is adored by both children and adults alike. I've lost count of the number of times I've seen it now but it never fails to move me, it's just so charming.

If you ever prefer to film and edit something that's only 26 minutes long, you might just find it the most moving holiday piece out there anyhow.

It explains a lot that happened before the Wizard of Oz and I think they did a good job with it. If not for Christmas, then put it on your list for later on. I think you'll enjoy it.
