I'm feeling a little emotionally blunted after the busyness of the past few weeks, but I'll just hunker down and wait for it to pass. Some soothing fantasy soundtracks and a couple days of all-day-drawing should hopefully do the trick! 💞💞

Hello folks! I feel like I've aged 10 years since we last spoke, I've been so swamped with errands and chores!

Rescue kitty's name is (or was) BBQ (thanks for asking, y'all are too cute! 😆😆). And since we last spoke, he's.... climbed through a grilled window, out on to the parapet of my high-rise apartment once, broken out of his kitty enclosure twice, toppled over our heavy-ass desktop speakers thrice, and given us head-to-head head butts and sweet kitty kisses an infinite number of times 😭😭😭💕💕💕.

It took us a while, but we've finally found a warm, loving home for BBQ; he's even made new kitty playmates! Homekitty is officially off the streets and living the good life as a pampered house cat, now 😻😻😻😻. Going on a tangent, BBQ's arrival set off an entire chain of events, and Mr Lily and I finally got our asses off the couch (or off our office chairs as it were, lol) and completed the (literal) mountain of unpacked items and unfinished chores we've put off since moving into this place 3 years ago.

Okay anyway, here's the next P0rncom episode.

(In the meantime, I'd better catch a breather before I give y'all an update on my future plans and projects, etc.)

MPL Season 3 hiatus update (Patreons only)

Hello, dearest Patrons <3 It's been long enough, and I don't want to keep y'all waiting any further. I'll keep this short and sweet -- I'm in the middle of a contractual discussion with Webtoon, and while I can't reveal any details, I wanted to give y'all a heads up that MPL Season 3 will not be launching on the Webtoon Originals platform anytime soon.

I'll provide further updates as soon as I hear from Webtoon, but I'm obliged to you guys as my Patrons to reveal at least this much, especially those of y'all who are here solely in support of MPL. Hopefully this update will allow y'all to reconsider your Patreon pledge for the following month 🙇🏻‍♀️ 🙇🏻‍♀️🙇🏻‍♀️

I'm still actively (and excitedly) working on other Patreon-exclusive stuff, like my Secret Garden mini-comics and whatnot! so if you're sticking around, you can look forward to at least this much from me <3

Also Anyone noticed the Club Miracle logo? 👁👄👁 Oh also, I saw in the previous comments that some of y'all were a little confused about what this comic strip is about -- It's a non-canon, MPL alternate universe (AU) comic strip...ie. I'm making fanfics of my own comic, basically. Lol.

Anyway, I recently watched a video by a youtuber who makes video commentaries about comics and webtoons. They pointed out that the horizontal-scrolling layout of webtoons is effective but kinda uncreative and low-effort, and i thought "yeah, the asshole has a point" so I decided to give the traditional comic-page layout a whirl. It's been forever and a day since I've done this, but I like how the pages are turning out! The main drawback (I think) is the images and speech bubbles are too damn big (jk they're tiny lol). Which do y'all prefer? 🤩🤩

Hello, good people of Patreon <3 Time blindness has been kicking my ass this month, but justifiably so -- I've been grinding away at the computer, learning to use clip studio paint's POSEABLE 3D models (which, apparently, every other comic artist and their kitchen sink has been in on since forever ago except my technologically-challenged self, lol). And holy crap, this just opened up a whole new realm of possibilities, (especially for NSFW art if ykwim 🥵) and I am so freaking pumped and excited to make more art and content💥💥🔥

Thank you all so much for your continued support during this hiatus -- this stuff has such an insanely steep learning curve and I'd never have the time or energy to pick it up, if not for this break. Thank you so much, y'all 🥺🙇🏻‍♀️

I can't believe it took me SO DAMN LONG to learn to use a digital pencil brush on CSP!! (I'm very averse to picking up any kinds of new technology, lmao) I'd almost forgotten what it was like to rotate a pencil in your hand for different kinds of grip to produce different line qualities. T-this....this is a game-changer for me 😳😳

(I'm using my own modified version but if you're using Clip Studio Paint, you can download a free pencil brush here!)

I don't talk much about my mental health anymore (realised that talking about it does more harm than good, for me at least). Just wanted to share that I wasn't able to enjoy music like I used to after coming down with a stupid anxiety and panic disorder, 1-2 years back. Looks like I've more or less recovered from it now, cos I'm finally able to immerse myself in music, and it feels incredible! <3

Someone stop me before I finish this mini-comic in ONE FELL SWOOP, I'm having so much fun, lol.

Ok, in all seriousness. Some random thoughts I had while working on this, just now.

This story premise was born of a general fascination I have with the sex industry, which I thought would be an interesting theme to explore (but in a more light-hearted way). And while working on this comic strip, I realised how much I've missed just losing myself in the process of character exploration, and adding in utterly useless details that tell an entire story about the character, but contribute absolutely nothing to plot development, lol. Much like the earlier MPL season, or even during MPL's Canvas days, I guess you could say. It's the little things, like how I switched up Tora's usual menacing gear into something more laidback and sloppy -- a grungey t-shirt and floppy jeans -- and he appears in a different light, altogether. Throw in a motorcycle helmet slung across his arm, and this picture changes again; now pair all of this with his occupation as a HOT, SEXY ADONIS (ON CAMERA) and the juxtaposition is just... so, so fun. But wait! That's not all! Add Poppylan Wilkes into the picture -- hot little sex-pot bunny (on camera) -- hapless, nerdy and maybe a little immature (in person)... and VOILA! The entire story becomes a cocktail of something...interesting. (English majors where y'all at? Help me put this into words please 😂).

Anyway, sadly, and as some of y'all might know (or have noticed), I've had to give all this up in favour of the MPL plot, largely due to production and time constraints. But not a big deal, just something i'll keep in mind for my next long-term project <3

Hey folks! Y'all made any progress with your artsy projects since my last WIP post? I'm almost maybe 80% done with this one and I am SO EXCITED lol. Never thought it would see the light of day, I really struggled to visualise how I wanted this one to turn out. I'm practising a more realistic rendering style and greyscale makes it so much easier (for me at least) to work with values and anatomy (fudged up majorly with a previous illustration because I skipped this step lol). Anyway, here's a teaser sans titties. What colour palette do y'all think it would look good in? 🤓

I'm currently cleaning up this mess of an illustration (for the next Secret Garden) -- I have a tendency to go to town with layers, textures and colour overlays, which future-me does not appreciate, lol. Also figuring out how to organise these WIP / sketch posts so they won't clutter up the page for everyone. Any ideas? I'm still itching to try using Twitter an artwork dump, but knowing me, I'll get hooked on that sweet, sweet dopamine, which is not fun and not great for productivity lol.

In other news, I'll be sending out an official update post on MPL Season 3 when I'm done escaping from my responsibilities, lol.

Quick question for y'all.

I was been thinking about how it doesn't make sense why I don't post much on Patreon... because I'm always working on something. All day, everyday. Whether it's a little side-story, some world-building, creating OCs, making NSFW art and illustrations, whatever. Then I realised the problem is that not all this stuff is 'Secret Garden-worthy'. And my Imposter Syndrome and humility (jk lol) dictates that I question why any of my Patrons would want to see some random WIP art from me... which is kinda silly, because y'all sure as heck aren't paying to watch me shower, lmao.

Anyway, this begs the question: Other than MPL stuff, what DO you guys want more from me?

Would y'all be happy with any content at all, even if it's WIP art, short stories, mini comics I might never finish, etc.?

Or should I only post finished artwork here on Patreon, and share my WIPs on social media (I'm thinking Twitter, because it isn't as OCD-triggering)?

Or would y'all not mind if I drop by several times a week with random, unfinished stuff?

I'd love to post more on Patreon, but I'm having this weird paralysis-by-analysis thing going on right now...so help a sister out and let me know your thoughts! <3

I'm back from vacation!

Happy new year my loves I'VE MISSED YOU GUYS SO MUCH!!! 🥰🥰 I hope everyone's had a wonderful (or at least a good-enough!) 2024 so far!

I returned from vacay a couple weeks ago and got right back to work, but nothing like a good ol' "hey guys I'm back💀" post to really kick my lil butt back to reality again, lol! Quick shoutout: If you're going through MPL withdrawals, Patty (YouTube channel) and the ladies from Midnight Insights (Instagram) covered some of MPL Season 2's biggest moments with their seriously brilliant and insightful analysis videos and infographics respectively. Hello folks, sorry for disappearing the moment season 2 ended. As my luck would have it a family crisis hit as soon as my break started -- staged an emergency psychiatric intervention for a close family member who had a sudden manic episode that turned into acute psychosis literally before my very eyes, lol. We're 3 weeks into critical psychiatric care and they're finally coming out of psychosis, so thank god for that... but now I have a flight to Austria in 3 hours, my luggage isn't packed, my MIL just moved into my house, and I'm sitting here drawing pr0n whilst having a panic attack. In short I could really do with a fucking hug right now, lol... (or just leave me a ton of comments! Wink wonk 💞💞).

Anyway I'll be back in January and I'll make up for this month's lack of content, and if anyone says I'm making excuses or lying for money I'm booting your ass from my page immediately.

Love you guys so much and I'll see y'all next month!!
