With no other options left, you sink your teeth into the flesh below as deep as they will go. You don't even break skin, but apparently it was enough to alert the creature in the darkness and make her fingers uncurl from your frame. The good news is that you're free from her grip.
The bad news is that she's flung you skywards and you feel yourself rapidly accelerating as you leave the warmth of her palm. The world quickly turns into a blur as you pinwheel your arms around, trying to gather yourself and get some sense of direction, but you only see a wall of black quickly approaching your frail body.
You know into it, bones somehow unbroken and as you bounce off it, hitting the floor below, you twist and roll. That behemoth is still nursing the bitemark you caused, but her attention won't remain on that forever. You have to make a choice on what to do next before she regains her footing.
