My Hero Automata (Ch 114-117)
Added 2025-02-13 00:17:37 +0000 UTCAlright! Even earlier than I said it might be! As I said in my previous post, normally I might have held onto this until the actual aimed-for release date. But with February being so short, I don't see the point this time. As such, here it is a few days early ;-).
As for the actual chapters, they are mostly pivot/transition. There were conversations between characters that needed to happen, and some planning to be shown. I introduced a JSDF perspective that will likely get used more in the future as a way to show the follow-on effects of things Izumi and Momo introduce, along with hinting at some of the duo's design plans. There's also, appropriately given that Valantine's Day/Singles Awareness Day (-_-) is almost upon on, a full chapter dedicated to a date for our trio of lovers...complete with some lemony goodness for those that look forward to such!

As usual, the new additions to the story are attached to this post in various formats. Likewise as usual, I will be shortly updating the Master File in the Pinned Post. I can't believe I have to actually say this, but the Master File contains the entire story up to this point. No, I don't think you are idiots. Yes, someone was stupid enough not only not to understand that, but to openly insult me, repeatedly, for not 'being clear' about it. So now we all must suffer through Captain Obvious Man statements together. Sorry -_-.

2025-03-01 11:26:59 +0000 UTCSorry ;-), I didn't mean to make you feel terrible about it. Momo is still going to make, arguably more productive, use out of One for All. Since I established early on that it DRASTICALLY cut how much of her lipids she needs to use to Create things, having One for All will mean she had majorly accelerate orbital construction, among other things. Not the use most people would put it too, but legitimately more productive than using it to kill monsters that would die just as easily to a Quirk a fraction the strength...or even to a gun. Yeah, I've actually always been a fan of the idea of splitting One for All. It can be easily justified by the original Quirk of the first user being a transfer Quirk. No one ever said it had to COMPLETELY transfer the entire power. In fact, it's illogical for that to be the case. The Quirk would have been essentially functionless, which isn't usually true even of 'useless' Quirks in MHA. It makes more sense that it's capable of transferring power from one person to another, or something of the sort. And it's just that no one has ever TRIED to use it that way. It might be something I have Momo and Izumi discover at some point, but they don't have a reason to realize it just yet.

2025-02-13 02:12:34 +0000 UTCAlthough I enjoy the idea of going all in on the tech development because you’re good at it and I enjoy reading it, you’ve successfully made me feel terrible about my decision because of how many plans were ruined and how much of a waste one for all is. I read a fic recently that solved the “there cannot be a tenth wielder” by expanding on One for all’s abilities and allowing it to split itself to stabilise the power issues
