Dawn Commission Variations

Hi there!

I apologize for disappearing over the last couple of days; I've been busy with commissions. Additionally, a hurricane is approaching where I live, so I've had to sort out some things. Anyway, while I wait for it to arrive, here are some of my recent works

Thank you again for continuing to request commissions and for your support on Patreon. I'll be compiling a queue list to showcase the fun projects I've worked on in the past couple of months.

This was a semirealistic commission for Enemystand and their original character Dawn, It was quite enjoyable. The concept given to me was "a heavy metal cover featuring Dawn as a larger-than-life legend, a warrior with decades of scars. The armor serves as a gallery of memorabilia gathered from past battles, and her body is depicted as a fortress with strong walls that serve as warnings to her foes," or something along those lines that I tried to capture.

Anyway, I hope you like it. The storm is getting closer, i have to shut down my laptop :P

Hi there, Interesting picture... I myself always have more of a fable for fit, rather muscular women. But for me personally, it's defenetively too much. Even for men I find it too over the top. Ok, it's a commissioned work and to each his own. What speaks for the picture is the quality, as a heavy metal cover picture it works very well. You've captured the mood of Manowar covers or 80s fantasy book covers very well. What I really like about the Amazon is the textures of the scars and the details of the riveted leather straps like the metal parts of the armor. Especially the bronze gold tones work well with the red background. The weapon is also very interesting. It looks like a broadsword that ends in an axe with a kind of scythe at one end and a mace in the middle with a classic axe edge. The weapon looks really massive and I like the handles that have been welded to it. It really takes a muscular woman to wield this weapon. In my opinion the best part is the nice butt of the succubus (I guess this is supposed to be one) holding on to the warrior's leg. The fur the warrior is wearing on her leg is a bit strange. It doesn't look as detailed as the rest. Could it be that you are using some kind of conspiracy effect to add depth to the image? Thanks for sharing this image. All the best, I keep my fingers crossed that the storm won't be too bad. Regards

Oh wow -- that full Frazetta energy really shines in this piece. Some very fun work, here -- thank you for sharing it! Also, here's hoping the storm isn't TOO bad, and that you're able to get through it without too much scary stuff to deal with!
