Such a delightful film. It’s a great romantic comedy without the contrived sappiness. It’s kind of like a kinder, gentler “Scrooged”. Watching Phil’s evolution is truly wonderful and how he and Rita grow to love one another. I highly recommend watching “Multiplicity” in the future. Harold Ramos returns as director and Bill Murray was reportedly going to return alongside Andie MacDowell, but Murray and Ramos had a falling out and never worked together again.

Rita: .... Phil: And a doughnut. Rita: .... alright Even though Rita is a naturally sunny and optimistic person, I like how GD also shows her cynical and skeptical side. It makes her interactions with Phil feel so real and organic.
