2024-02-12 17:34:26 +0000 UTCIn regard to the British attitude to the Americans there was a popular saying in Britain that what was wrong with Americans is that they are oversexed, overpaid, and over here. Most Brits were happy America was in the war but a lot of our service men displayed an entitled attitude that rubbed Brits the wrong way. Also remember that Britain had fought Germany and Italy alone for a year before Germany attacked Russia and a year and a half before Japan attacked America. They didn't like our superior attitude and being told what they were doing wrong.

I despise Baz Luhrman films but was impressed with his performance and I just realized it’s Austin Butler playing Feyd Rautha in the Dune 2 Trailers we’ve been seeing. Supposedly it was Tom Hanks who asked Austin what he was doing after the ELVIS shoot and said I think you’d be perfect for this character….

Looking forward to this series. "You know, if this whole thing ended, and there were only two pilots left up in the air, it would be me, and it would be you." Austin Butler was excellent in Elvis (2022). He was nominated for Oscar for Best Actor.
