What an episode! It continues to show the intense brutality of WW2. I just felt so hard for the men coming into Easy and trying to fit in. But, I loved the arc. I appreciated the truth of what the veterans said at the beginning of not wanting to get to know them. It would be so challenging to have the newcomers come in who weren't as skilled as you and to see them die. Or just coming into such a tense situation and stirring up the pot within a tight group.
I got so emotional about the intense reality of the combat when they were leaving Eindhoven and the toll that it takes on the soldiers. I loved how they consoled one another. Just a powerful moment for me as the camaraderie is still there through the tough emotional parts and they are so honest in front of one another. No words need to be spoken.
I feel like I am always lost for words at the end of these in my "post feels"! It's so much easier to digest after the fact or once I have slept on it, or even getting to watch myself back.
Thanks so much for watching! sorry no timer still working on that😅!
So happy you are here to watch! I'm so thankful for you!!
