Hi Familia, I've been away for a period of time and trying to catch up here. I watch masked singer but not every episode, i just watch anything I can find in YT. When I get to see this EP I already know that it was him. Being a fan and my bias, I can quickly tell it was him. By the way, the host is the same host that JK saved in a concert when he fell right in JK's pit as when they are getting ready to perform. It happened in 2016 and this EP was also in 2016.

Super stoked that you guys finally saw this. regarding the comment about the idol part, it had a positive connotation from their pov because they view idols as less versatile/capable vocally compared to say pro singers so him saying maybe he wasn't an idol after all probably meant he sounded like someone who has been in the music industry for a while as in a " pro singer" as he was able to perfectly capture the depth in emotion and techniques they were familiar with.

2025-01-03 12:50:20 +0000 UTCI loved when he sung ‘IF YOU’ the most… I love that song… he sung it so well, he has such a stable voice🎶 also his impressions are so f-ing funny, he’s imitated Choi Min Sik a lot… Jungkook’s imitations of people and memes literally gets me through life, I love a good meme😂 I was literally just watching vines when I went to bed last night lol🫠 Ngl, when you did that intro I immediately saw the Frontman and got a tad bit scared, I was like Squid Game trauma…. Oh my god but the actor that plays the Frontman, Lee Byung Hun I love you… anyway😬 I think when you have a mask over your face it takes away the bias in people (even if you as an ARMY knows very well that that is Jungkook) so many people come onto this show, so if people sung with everyone knowing who’s who, I’d feel audiences would pick who they know more/who they’re more biased towards (even if they’re a fan) When you have a mask on it’s a lot harder because you have no idea (unless you’re extremely good at figuring out who’s who) so you’re only left with their voice and that’s what you’re basing your decision on… if I was part of the audience I’d immediately want to choose Jungkook cause I know him and I’m ARMY which would then make things unfair because you’d be letting bias win… even so, he’s singing IF YOU so if I didn’t know that was Jungkook, my bias towards that song would’ve made me pick him, he sung that song impeccably well, when his voice raised on a part of that song (can’t remember specifically) I got chills… it was argdjjdjxksjkddkkeodfjsjjfjejednjskcjenfnkekcjendkfkdeowondwnnd… also happy 2025, forgot about that🎊🎉🍾

I absolutely adore jk’s version of “If you” it’s so beautiful and heavenly and more yearning!!! When the show came out I didn’t know jk (was not an army then😅) so was really surprised when I found out cause, he increased my curiosity about BTS😭
