QOTD: I confess that I had completely forgotten about the hot100, so I had just woken up when my cellphone started to blow up with text messages from a few friends and then I went on Twitter and saw the news....wow, familia....I literally started to cry, I was crying my heart out and trying to comment on weverse, than Jimin went live and I was crying even more seeing the members congratulating him! When I managed to calm down a bit I REMEMBER MARISOL SAYING JIMIN WAS GOING TO BREAK RECORDS 💜💜💜

2023-04-06 13:20:01 +0000 UTCQOTD: i was waiting for billboard to announce the hot 100, so i stayed up pretty late even though i have an exam the next day. it's almost 1 AM for me and billboard hasn't post it, so i decided to sleep, i dont want to be late for my exam (sadly, i went to bed 2 minutes before billboard announce it, i find out about it the next morning) T_____T BUT ANYWAYS I WAS SO HAPPY WHEN I WOKE UP, MY FRIENDS TOLD ME ABOUT THE GOOD NEWS!! i literally cried because i was so happy!! jimin truly deserved that huhuhuh i feel like im gonna cry thinking about it again.

I remembered how much he worked, how young he was when he came to Seoul….his journey to be the man and artist he is today is so inspiring. In Thailand when it came out and i cried waiting for the member and Jimin himself 'course im sure they come so i be able to catch his Live means i didn't sleep at all! It really happy tears so pround of him of the team and us Army as well.💜

Al though we know Jimin is alot healthier now and doesnt starve himself like back then. Its still a very sad topic, and the fact that he said "if the fans like it.." i wish i could personally tell him i would love him in any shape or form. Korean beauty standards on idols are no joke. Like alot of comments have said above, these last few days were so emotionally draining, i have never seen someone be so hated and insulted the way Jimin (and namjoon) are, and this has been going on for years. I usually try to just block the haters but the fact that even official kpop news accounts were spreading misinformation was just so disgusting. The sabotage from multiple platforms was also very frustrating and exhausting. I really hope jimin didnt see any of these vile comments, but seeing how big bts is I wouldnt be surprised if he did. So i cried when i saw him as #1 Hot100, he deserved this so so much. Not only is the song an undeniable bop but it makes me happy knowing Jimin knows how hard we worked for him to get him that #1. He and BTS are angels and like they always say, we only really have each other. Im glad our family grows more and more everyday bc BTS deserves the support more than anything. 💜

Listening to him sing feels like a warm hug and like I’m in heaven. Every time he sings I get chills, goosebumps, and tingles throughout my entire body. Can listen to him sing for hours, I LOVE HIS VOICE SO MUCH!!

HE MADE HISTORY, becomes the first Korean/K-Pop soloist in history to debut at #1 on the Hot 100!!” not going to lie I screamed so loud out of so much excitement and pride and tears started streaming down my face. This was a “you just had to be there” king of moment. Jimins shield took the most damage & we can never truly know the half of what he’s endured. He opened up to us with Face and all I can keep repeating is how proud I am of him🥲🤧 Jimin is by every definition, a shining superstar. He is one of the most talented people on this planet and yet he seems completely devoid of ego. And I think that’s one of my favorite things abt him. I’m so proud to be his fan. Like words can’t even phase the immense pride and love I have for this man!!! He has truly come so far!! The amount of hardwork he has put into his career all these years…it makes me so deeply emotional because if there’s anyone who deserves all this success coming their way, ITS JIMIN. A young boy with lots of ambitions. He has put so much into becoming who he is today. He has worked EXTREMLY hard...always pushing himself off his limits and achieving perfection and still said “I want to improve. I wanna be better. I want to become a singer that you are proud of.” I have always been and always will be immensely proud of this king. With him until the end💜💜💜

I'm pretty sure their first concert there that he talked about and said was a new beginning was the HYYH Epilogue concert which is when they were all very emotional so I def recommend checking it out soon! Gymnastics stadium's capacity = 15,000 and Jamsil capacity = 70,000 so it's much bigger, they didn't get there till 2018

Like everyone above me were saying, the amount of vile, disgusting comments that was aimed towards Jimin since his promotions started fr made me sick to my stomach. Like I don't even wanna get into that bc it makes me so upset. Weverse posted an article saying "If Jimin were just an average young twenty something with a normal life, his kind soul would have been a personal plus. But Jimin is a member of BTS. He’s surrounded by attention and judgment and he even faces unprovoked, malicious personal attacks based on unfounded claims. What is it about him that keeps him friendly despite everything he goes through?" It broke my heart man. AND THEN THE BILLBOARD RESULTS CAME OUT and I cried tears of joy. It felt like a fraction of his hard work and talent was shown through those charts and proved those haters wrong. (omg sorry for the long comment 😭😭)
