Jinny's Kitchen appears to be getting more popular by the episode! 👏 It seems as if the word is getting around town that there is a new Korean Restaurant in town.
Jinny's Kitchen coworkers did run into some problems on their first day open so the boss decided to add new Korean snacks to the menu and it worked! 🤗
And it seems, even more snacks, are going to be added in the next episode!
We still can't believe they're really running a restaurant in Mexico, and they're all so dedicated to making it successful! 👏 We love this series concept so much!

I love this, as a Mexican is just so good to see them in our country and talking in spanish... also is very funny how they don't censor the curse words... although I have to admit that i wouldn't buy a Ramen for 200 that's too expensive considering the ingredients they were using, but anyways it's awesome to see multiple cultures mixing together.

2023-03-08 11:22:58 +0000 UTCI understand aegyo and i think it is cute most of the time, and this type of 'babying' is fine, it is affectionate, endearing, etc. But the comment you are referring to(I think, since it is the only comment that talks about that) was not speaking about tae's friends and interactions with people, but specifically talking about other armies. And they meant the other type of 'babying', which is negative, like saying tae deserves to be treated better (when he is simply being teased as a joke...) or implying that he cannot handle doing/facing anything difficult. It seems some armies get angry or annoyed if people aren't giving them special treatment or something. In this way, that is a bit infantilizing, because they are grown men. Hope this makes sense!

2023-03-07 20:00:12 +0000 UTCi love watching this series with you, familia! it honestly makes my whole week 💜 also for clarification, the two pink straps on the CEO's ankles are to ward off mosquitos! when I went to Korea in the summertime, we all wore those bracelets on our wrists and ankles to avoid mosquito bites :) it worked like a charm! didn't get any mosquito bites for days. considering how Bacalar was most likely humid and hot (mosquitos thrive) during the time of filming, they probably packed those bracelets with them ahead of time haha

2023-03-06 20:28:13 +0000 UTCalso i think this has been mentioned before, but Seojin majored in business in NYU hence his English skills....Wooshik grew up in Canada hence he's also good in English ahaha...and Seojun was the intern/server in season 2 of youn's kitchen and it was set in Spain hence his previous knowledge of Spanish :D I really think Yumi and Seojun's cooking skills from previous seasons really helped them here...Yumi was in the movie Train to Busan with Wooshik, if you guys haven't checked that movie out :) and Wooshik was in Parasite...it was so funny seeing the editors put the Parasite theme and the black bar covering the eyes from the Parasite poster hahaha

2023-03-06 20:13:33 +0000 UTCQOTD: Mine would be Bulgogi served with Lettuce wraps and Ssamjang with Rice, with side dishes of aged Kimchi and different types of Namul (pan fried veggies). Second would be Bulgogi Japchae. As a snack food I love Tteokbokki but it can sometimes be too spicy for me. I’m like Tae, I can’t really handle spice. I saw a comment about the boys being babied… to be honest this where those who are not so familiar with Korean culture won’t understand that Aegyo etc and being babied is not an age thing but a part of showing affection. Aegyo is a big part of Korean culture that to non-Koreans can seem strange but I love when Tae acts as the Maknae here. In the Korean comments the majority talk about Tae’s cuteness. He is considerably younger than the rest of the cast so it’s especially endearing. That’s why the editors use the baby squeaks, laughs etc a lot on Tae. If you notice Tae tends to get babied by Bighit staff, Run Editors and members and all his friends too. All those who watched In the Soop friendcation should be familiar with this by now. So it’s a top down thing that travels to Army. I loved this ep too, it just feels super short. I had so many favourite moments… - Seo Jun and Tae’s dynamic. He really is like a parent/older brother. He keeps making food for Tae, whenever Tae wants it, or asks for it, he immediately does it. Seo-Joon is so nice in complimenting Tae, like when they were washing dishes etc. I love that in the scrolling to-do list before they had to open the restaurant, one of Seo June’s tasks was to look after Intern Kim. - Tae and Seo Jun hyping up Yu Mi and giving her moral support constantly. It’s so cute. (Also who would believe that Yumi is 40.) She’s getting so good at rolling gimbap. I also love her hyping up Tae’s rice cooking skills. I think back to the run ep with Mr Baek where he was confused on how to use a rice cooker. - Smol Tae stretching in the background with his popcorn shorts… and lying down on the yoga mat. I’m loving all the memes of him in them, like the Kiki delivery service one etc. - Tae wanting an anonymous whistleblowing hot line and wanting to start a labor union. Seo-Jin saying it’s forbidden. And talking about how Yumi betrayed Tae. - Seo Jin’s happy dimples, proud stance etc. and also how he keeps smiling or laughing endeared but perplexed at most the things Tae does or says. - Seo Jun being so good at everything. - Tae’s face when the sauce was too spicy for him. And him going about in the background doing all his tasks in serious yet tiny mode. Like mopping, washing dishes, cooking etc. Also his soft and gentle way of speaking. - The FOOD. Defo not a good idea to watch this hungry. - Customers recognising Tae and saying he’s a famous singer. The group of Ahjussi’s recognising him… - Woo Shik. His energy is just so fun and positive. He has great comedic timing too etc. I’m loving his and Tae’s dynamic too and the hierarchy banter. Tae’s happy face when Wooshik arrived. The whole Wooga dynamic is just lovely. - You guys trying to set up the the two solo travellers. I’m really looking forward to next week too. This show is just so healing, warm and lovely. I think everyone needs a feel good show in their lives.

2023-03-06 17:18:31 +0000 UTCso because i enjoyed this show so much, i started watching the previous season, youn's stay (i believe this is already the 3rd season where wooshik joined the cast: seojun, yumi, seojin and another older actress youn yuhjung who was the previous owner/ceo). they ran a guesthouse for foreigners visiting korea and i just can't get over about how talented these actors and actresses are. I can tell you the level of skills that they have shown so far in jinny's kitchen is like maybe just half of what they are actually capable of. in the previous season, they were serving full course authentic korean meals and that really shocked me. seojun and yumi works amazing together in the kitchen. wooshik's social skills are incredible and i hope we'll see more of that in the next episodes. seojin definitely changed lol his opinions are stronger and he's more picky but he has always been serious about business and he's the one who knows how the whole process works, he knows how to please the customers and cater to their needs. taehyung adds a unique and totally new character into the dynamic which is exciting to see.

Fun fact: I am Arab my mother language is Arabic but i live in Turkey so i have to speak Turkish... and i like kpop and kdrama so i know some words in Korean but i watch them with English subtitles 😂💜

We have to remember that the hierarchy is a big part of the Korean culture and I feel like we tend to forget that because we don't see it as much within BTS. Not only is Seojin the oldest but he has been in the entertainment industry for over 20 years so he is a big senior to all of them. During the other seasons, he's not as "strict" because there was Youn Yuh-jung (She won an oscar for Minari) who is older than him and a senior to him, so she would boss him around and stuff.

Seojin is a tough boss at times but he also shows his soft side for the others and I love how much Tae eating Ramyeon makes him laugh. There were so many favorite parts in this episode so it's hard to pick only one. You can tell when a show is fantastic when it's been over 90mins and it feels like it flew by. That's how this show is for me, it just flies by. Did you notice the solo man and woman left the restaurant together and were walking down the street together? Seems like they really hit it off. My favorite Korean foods are Chapagetti, Kimchi Bibimbap, Korean Style Fried Rice Shrimp with Soy Garlic Flavor, and crushed Korean Pear juice. I also love Gimbap but the place I get it from is over an hour away so I don't have it as often as I would like. Thankfully the other items I am able to buy online or get at my local grocery store. Thanks for a great reaction. I can't wait for the next episode! 💜

Compared to my other bosses hes an angel. Also i think armys tend to baby the members too much like they can’t take normal things from the real world, taehyung can live like us mortals for one week hahah it’s not gonna hurt him he probably had it rougher when he was a trainee

Literally eating breakfast while watching this :D I also got confused whether the customers were aware of being filmed and I'm glad they explained it hehe. I'll try to answer all of your questions haha, I am editing my comment while watching haha, please bear with me. 1. If I will choose a dish that can be served from their restaurant probably bibimpab hehe, since they can choose whether to make it spicy or not, also it's really not that hard to make [I think, watching Jin on IN THE SOOP making it] and also the thing is there are a lot of variety as well so it's something I would add. 2. For the spicy food, I can handle very mild to little spicy, if I have a choice I don't want my food to be spicy hehe. 3. The coffee that they were trying I think is the MAXIM coffee, we have that and it's kinda strong for me hehe, but also good coffee. But I still love the Banana Milk that JK drinks, it's one of my favorite haha. 4. As for the medicine that Seojin was drinking. I'm not really sure if it's good for the eyes or if it's something to drink when you are too sleepy and you need to be awake. It's funny how our Boss/CEO tried to do a PR right away haha. 5. I'm a dog person but we have a cat haha, although we have a dog, too.
