We are so invested in seeing how V’s skills progress in the kitchen… or maybe not. 🤣 We say this because of his comment at the press conference where he said,” After some cooking, I realized cooking can’t be fun.” 🤣

That first episode with poor intern Tae, he worked so hard prepping, that he could barely keep his eyes open for the managers meeting, it really went over his head. I’ve watched many dramas starring Lee Seo Jin who’s been acting a good number of years, most noted “Yi San”. He actually adored Tae, finding him endearing, funny, quick witted, but slow manually. There really wasn’t much he could do about his new employee cause it was the producer PD NA, who hired V for his charisma, which he witnessed when his company Game Caterer’s did a collaboration with RUN BTS. The Pacing and nagging by LSJ had me nervous for all the staff. I’m really excited I get to enjoy this with you all, I am Hawaiian/French/Chinese/Tahitian/Army too, I am 70 yo, been following BTS since 2017 Spring Day, since my stroke in 2019, I am retired and enjoying those good ole days waiting on my grandsons to return in 2025. I do have great grand babies who are of Mexican Ancestry as my daughter was briefly married to a fellow from the Del Rio Texas area. My eldest granddaughter whose mother to those sweet babies is stationed in Florida. I don’t know your names, but I am happy to meet you finally I have seen several of your reactions over the years on YT. 💜 💜 I PURPLE YOU 💜 💜

So, I can say the editing from both Prime and TV version are mostly similar. I don't know maybe it is because they filmed in different seasons too, on Youn's Stay they filmed in Winter, so the vibe is chill and relaxing? And here in Summer, so the vibe is cheerful and bright.

I feel like the editing used to be more chill but this season seems like it has a lot of quick cuts and fast-forwarding of actions. I'm wondering if it's different because it was edited by Prime and if the same version was aired on TVN.

I gathered that they were just teasing Tae about going in 1 hour early. I'm sure if he was supposed to do that and didn't then SeoJin would have been quite vocal about it. I can't wait for episode 2.

LOL 🤍It feels good to see foreigners enjoying Korean street food, and it's so funny because their chemistry is good. 💜 Taehyung, who asked Jungkook to grill meat, is very proud of grilling bulgogi himself. He's so cute that he even speaks Spanish in Taetae language😂

Unfortunately, the main host, Ms. Youn cannot join the show this time, but I am happy to see Tae and Woo Shik together. I watched Youn's kitchen part II in Spain and Youns' Stay in Korean hanok. I would recommend you to see these two seasons as well. Seo Jin, Yu Mi, and Seo Joon were all in both seasons. And Woo Shik joined them in Youn's Stay. There were many interesting, loving, and funny things. I love the Youn's stay mostly because of Woo Shik, he is a very easygoing and funny person. Although he was an intern then, he worked very hard and ran all over the field, and made everyone smile. I think Tae and he will be the life of Jinny's party!

And they probably shot this last Dec because Tae cameback from Mexico only a day before Jin's inlesment and I've been seing thier Insta post in Mexico last Dec. Moreover, in Mexico Tae revealed his 7 tattoo.

And SeoJin is really different there from here it’s a totally different vibe u can tell here because he is the boss he has to be the strict one for them to move on but on the other show he wasn’t strict like this😂

Lol as soon I finished the first time watching with you, I started a second time as I was having internet issues the first time etc and your reaction was sooo good. I love that there are things that only you have picked up on because it’s part of your cultural heritage. I love the effort you made in your beautiful decoration too. I love this show and the cast’s chemistry so much. Especially the Tiki-Taka of Seo Jin and Tae. Our pretty Tae has been absolutely adorable. So many endearing, cute and funny moments that made me want to 🥺🤏🏼. I’m so proud of how hard Tae worked. From taking cooking and Spanish lessons in preparation for the show, to on the show: driving everyone, prepping and making so many things: making bulgogi sauce, marinating the bulgogi, cooking it. Grating a ton of carrots and cucumber, making the rice, making the gimbap sauce, looking after the tteokbokki in the background, frying fritters and decorating it. In addition to dishes. When you think back to his struggle to boil water for pasta during Run or to make rice etc or how panicked the members and Wooga squad would get with Tae and a knife… the growth is so evident and beautiful to see. Also you are right Familia. Tae has a condition which makes it difficult for him to regulate his body temperature. Which is why heat and certain materials trigger his skin condition and cause him to breakout in hives etc. Like all people with chronic health conditions know, the unpredictability and the chronic nature of it etc can be quite distressing and difficult to manage. I have a feeling staff didn’t know. Which is why Tae had to DIY customise his shorts etc. In terms of time-line familia. It might be a good idea for an interlude in my comment to refresh everyone’s memories on Tae’s schedule and activities. Production started around Busan concert time. Tae arrived 4 days later for the face-to-face we saw. In that time he had already had lessons in prep. During that time other run eps were filmed. News of their enlistment plans etc was released. Nov 10-11th Run BTS top genius and field day were filmed. (We know timings of each because Jin talked about his Alcohol Diaries show being released in a few days and winning on M-Countdown 1st place, and Tae talked of dieting which he was doing in prep for Paris) Tae’s vlives with ARMY including the gaming one and then Nov 16th he flew to Paris (for his mystery project which he just released some photos from (it looks grand scale) back from Paris 20th of Nov. After that TikTok of Run BTS directed and edited by Tae and JK which they filmed at Incheon Paradise Hotel after JK got back from Qatar the second time. Don’t know if any other thing was filmed for official content at the time or if it was a private trip. December - Mexico to film Jinny’s Kitchen. Because of news reports that Tae was already in Mexico 2nd of Dec cause of clips posted on tiktok. He was spotted by ARMY many times but at first they didn’t release the info. A lot of ARMY were giving him space etc to film comfortably, ARMY did the same when Tae was in Hawaii before and Tae thanked them for it. Which is why I agree in thinking that one of those girls could have been ARMY. So we don’t know how long Tae was in Mexico but it was more than 10 days. Tae then travelled 24hours straight after shooting this strenuous show to return to Korea Dec 12th in time for Jin enlisting. Dec 13th all the boys travelled to the north of South Korea to see off Jin. Around Dec 16th Tae filmed his CF for his new ambassador role for SimInvest (One of Indonesias largest conglomerate and financial advisory companies.) Which was just released. So I can understand why Tae said he had to have 3IV’s when he got back. You could see how tired he was on day two in Mexico in the evening when the others having fun teasing him playfully etc. Also in terms of Youn’s Kitchen and Youn’s Stay some info that might be helpful: -Season One, Indonesia. Only Seo-Jin and Yumi there from current cast. -Season 2, Spain. Seo Jun joined as a part-timer. He worked in serving etc with Seo-Jin the manager. Yumi was in kitchen cooking. Seo-jun cooked a wee bit too. Seo-Jin was the manager and front of house. -Youn’s Stay instead of Kitchen because of the pandemic. They ran a Hanok (Korean style guest house/B&B. Woo Shik joined as intern) which is why they joked he doesn’t have relevant experience to be promoted for Jinny’s Kitchen. Seo-Jun and Yu mi cooked. -Yumi and Wooshik had a spin-off called Summer Vacation where Seo Jun guest starred. In the ep he guest starred, Tae made a couple of mins cameo via video call. And then the probably uncle with his nieces saying it's been a while, idk all the little similarities with my country made me love this even more!! Like this was so funny, i love their dynamic and connection, can't wait to see more of it!! And seeing Marisol so excited is so good, Uthman too obviously!! Also, was very surprised Uthman know a lot of Spanish, didn't know he knew so much!!! I also really liked the costumers interaction, brothers for sure 😂😂 but I'm curious what curse word he used when he called the other fat, Spanish is similar to Portuguese but i couldn't catch that lol Also, like you said before, we already knew Tae went to Mexico because some people posted about it, and it was during December so i believe it was during December that they filmed this!!! And i think it's already out that it has 10 episodes!! Can't wait to watch it all with you!!! P.S.: Just remembered he also went back to Korea earlier than scheduled to wish farewell to Jin, so definitely filmed in December!!

One thing to mention though, since i felt you guys misinterpret Seojin's tone/character a little sometimes, the CEO is a nice and tolerant guy(even if he is a bit stern for the restaurant). He comes off like a blunt father and when he is smiling, it looks like an upside down smile lol. Definitely these shows play up the workplace position dynamics, but they are quite friendly with each other despite the hierarchy

When I was younger it was Paris but I've been there now. I guess I'd just like to experience a little of everything you know. I was excited for Marisol to watch it just cause it was in Mexico and many people including the cast spoke in Spanish a few times, I just wondered how you'd react to it. Like, it's your culture, it thought this would be special to Mari. Connections between cultures.🧚🏻♀️ Ngl, I love it when Seo Jin gets all stern and puts on the the boss attitude, idk, I love intensity in shows. Yu Mi making the Kimbap, the pressure... awe I felt for her, but same I'm rooting for her too. 2023-03-02 03:06:07 +0000 UTCI think one of the reasons I'm liking it so much, it's that i never been to Mexico but i feel like Latinos country's have a lot of things in common (especially the seasons, that if I'm not mistaken it's the same as Brazil), because I've seen so much similarities with Brazil lol, like the heavy rain that starts and go very quickly, the car passing on the street selling water and stuff and yelling it, like here we have a lot especially for eggs 😂 it's just a car yelling "look at the eggs, fresh eggs" and some funny phrases that i don't want to try and translate 😅😂

And him putting the mask over his eyes by mistake was so funny too lol, what's funnier it's that he said he never used one (you also said you never seen one) but he did use one like this on a Run BTS cooking episode 😂 the second time they did one with Chef Baek!!

2023-03-02 02:34:33 +0000 UTCTbh one of the reasons I was so excited for Marisol's reaction is not only because it's in Mexico, but also to see her reaction to them/Taehyung speaking in Spanish lol, it's very cute and kinda gibberish, but him saying "Cilantro, por favor" made my week because in Portuguese is very similar, so like it felt like he was speaking Portuguese too and i love it!! Also, him saying Muy Bien is so cute too, i just know I'll die every episode with him speaking Spanish!!
