This moment is so innocent and emotional!! The members were so nervous about being at the Billboards for the first time and they had no idea they were about to win Top Social Artist! 👏
We have seen this before but it always feels like it's our first time watching it and our body reacts as if it was our first time watching it, heart-pounding, and palms sweating lol.
It's cool to see how proud they were for receiving a Billboard Award imagine how they feel now receiving a Diplomatic Passport from their President! 🤯
BTS never stops making us proud. 🥲

They got the most cheer from the croud because ARMY almost occupied the top seats to cheer for them. Locals started to become curious about BTS because of how loud the cheers were. There's a few compilation on youtube on how locals at the event reacted to the loud screaming haha

Please watch their vlive after attending Billboard. They talk more about their feelings and how their mini encounters with celebrities. Like they're doing a phone call with their family after that big event.

I wasn't an army during this bb award show too but whenever I see that picture with jin walking through the airport holding their top social artist award I feel so proud because it was really only the beginning and kpoppers kept making fun of bts and army and calling it a paper award while they still can't win it till this date and the only reason they're now nominees for that category is because of bts themselves and army

2021-09-16 21:50:09 +0000 UTCQOTD: no, sadly I wasn't ARMY at the time. But I was watching the BBMAs in 2017 on TV and I saw the members attending and winning the award. It sparked my curiosity, because I recognized them. I then found out, that I had seen some reactions to their videos back in 2015 and I was obsessed with Dope at the time, but I never got deeper into them because of school and just a busy life etc. After seeing them at the BBMAs I started researching and listening to their music and watching their content etc., and before I knew it I was down the rabbit hole. I've never regretted it, I only regret not staying with them back in 2015. But I found them when I needed them the most. For me 2017 had been such a shitty year and finding them was like seeing light at the end of the tunnel. I feel so happy and blessed to have them in my life now. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

And man, i became army 2mos. after this win! Like i remember seeing this win on our local news here in the Philippines and i just brushed it off, walked past the tv and did not pay any attention to it.. How extremely stupid of me right?? Hahaha. It's always such a heartwarming scene seeing them all nervous, excited and just in awe of everything there. the magenta carpet, the car they rode, the western artists they admire.. everything felt like a dream for them. And now fast forward to 2021 and they are South Korean diplomats representing their country and the world's youth at the UN!! I feel like a proud mom! Omg!! What a journey indeed. So proud and happy for them!!!

2021-09-16 03:19:44 +0000 UTCWhen they heard that bts was nominated and invited, u.s. armys were soooo surprised and excited to have them for the first time at bbma!!! Also they were very worried if bts could be intimidated among all the big western artists, so they decided to gather at the venue as many as possible to cheer them up. And on the day, army's cheers were so loud and enthusiastic that everybody at the venue was truly surprised! (There are memes of audience's shocked faces lol) And bts later told us that initially they were really nervous but as soon as they entered there, unexpectedly, so many armys were present and cheering so loud for them that they instantly felt so proud and confident🥺💜 P.s. Don't know if you noticed, namjoon ended his acceptance speech with the spoiler of the next album "Love yourself, love myself"🤭

2021-09-16 01:05:15 +0000 UTC- plane food - looks like they were eating bibimbap and maybe some beansprout soup? - Korean meals typically include some form of soup or broth, it just helps your meal to go down more easily, so there is always soup on the table to sip on - Yoongi seems to be eating ramen - this is typical plane food on a trip to or from Korea - ramen, despite being a "snack" is one of the more popular meals to order on the plane - the smell of it just makes everyone around you crave it xD - I had to go to Vegas last month for a conference for a week, stayed at the Venetian - some of the best food, but way too expensive - didn't do buffets though, still not completely comfortable around people who can't seem to understand the concept of masks or social distancing, I ended up doing a lot of room service - last dinner there, had wagyu, final breakfast was croque monsieur - both were excellent - when things are safer, I may go back and try some of the other things Vegas offers, but food was great - I did book a VR session there and loved it - got myself an oculus when I got back home because it was so much fun ^^ - I HIGHLY recommend Cirque du Soleil - I've been to a few of their shows, my absolute favorite was Alegria - it was a tragedy when that show went dark - I've been to see them half a dozen times, or thereabouts, and it's always a fantastic and magical experience - I urge anyone who has the opportunity to see them to please do - magenta carpet - people often giggle when the boys talk about the magenta carpet - the Billboard Awards in 2017 WERE on a magenta carpet, and NOT a red carpet - if you rewind back, you can see the carpet the boys stepped out on was a purple-ish pink hue - that is magenta ^^

I always get emotional seeing this moment because that really was only the begininng. Look at them now. Also, i think you would love to see some more behinds from when they were at the BBMAs and did a vlive. You could see them talking about if they could win the award in the lounge when they were waiting to go in. There's like 2 or 3 vlives they did, before and after winning the award i think you'll like to see it.

I was in college, i made all my friends and classmates vote for them, i voted like crazy all nights , everyone in college knew i was a big fan and it's their first major international award. so everyone kept asking me when were the results. I was so happy when they won, celebrated with my friends by cutting a cake and cooking something delicious, it was such a happy memory. When good things happen to BTS it feels like good things happen to us directly. This is definitely one of the iconic moments. I remember how happy and excited i was when they won. Because of my excitement everyone in the college knew who BTS was.

Waah, watching this i was just like you familia, felt like i was watching it for the first time and all the proud feeling came back 😭😭 And now they are the President Special Envoy!!! Wow... My favorite BBMAs is the 2019 one, because they won the Top Duo/Group and they were really not expecting it so their faces... Forever stuck in my mind their happy faces!! P.s.: when they got to Korea, Jin were holding the paper in front of him!! I love how humble they are but i really love when they brag too!! Haha

QOTD: I wasn’t an ARMY in 2017 )became ARMY 2020) but whenever I look back to this, I get so so proud because BTS were able to break the prejudice and win this award and it was so big!! It’s crazy to think they’ve come this far and now they’re presidential envoys!! 💜💜 can’t wait for the second video!
