We remember you telling us that it would make a comeback in a future Run BTS, so when we found out we were filming this series for today we were so excited!

PS: Familia, we just finished filming with KBS News for their new upcoming documentary, HANGUEL DAY! We were so nervous and anxious leading up to this point, almost to the point of vomiting! It was so hard to keep this a secret from you as well because as soon as they reached out, we wanted to run to tell you and dance together in excitement! We tried our best to give the best representation of ARMY possible and we tried our best to make you proud. We just love you all so much and want to make you happy. Thank you all so much for the amazing support; we will continue giving you our best efforts, being great company, and giving you the best videos we can create. Sincerely, we love you so much ๐

2021-09-03 17:45:34 +0000 UTCLoved your reaction as always! :D - The reason all the boys initially cracked up was that JK was speaking exactly like an elderly host of tv home shopping lol - Kimpitang is a popular dish in Choong-chung area but people from other regions usually haven't heard of it, that's why most of them were not familliar with it. - If the younger ones call their hyung's name with an -ah/-ya like Namjoon-ah, Yoongi-ya or Seokjin-ah, they are being a brat๐ You should never call someone older than you like that but since they are quite close sometimes maknaes use their right as instruction-giver and jokingly drop honorifics. It's so fun to see the hyungs' faces lol - If there are any i-armys who want to cook some Korean food, pls note that 1) there are TWO KINDS OF SOY SAUCE! I bet they used the "light soy sauce for soup (๊ตญ๊ฐ์ฅ)" which tastes compleeetely different from the normal one๐ Pls check you get the fermented soy sauce (์ง๊ธด์ฅ/์์กฐ๊ฐ์ฅ) before you buy it! 2) Generally the kimchi used in Korean cooking is sour kimchi that is fermented for more than a week. Kimchi jjigae (kimchi stew) and kimchi fried rice as well as the kimpitang they made use fermented kimchi, so when you put fresh kimchi which is not sour, it will taste quite wierd๐

2021-09-02 16:24:13 +0000 UTCWhile watching this you can definitely tell who is usually the one cooking jungkook ,jin and yoongi๐ If I remember they filmed another run around this time and I'm sure Tae was just tired. This was also filmed before in the soop happened so they haven't had time to relax much . This was filmed like the beginning of 2020 and namjoon wow he looks so lean around this time. Now he gained so much muscle man really be hitting the gym ๐ช๐ .

2021-09-02 02:01:08 +0000 UTC- qotd - samgyeopsal - I made homemade ssamjang, fresh lettuce and perilla leaves from my garden, made homemade green onion salad from my garden, some doenjang jigae with a bit of stew beef, tofu, mushrooms, and spinach from my garden, some raw sliced garlic and spicy cheongyang peppers, and grilled up some pork belly - lettuce wraps with grilled pork belly and lots of veggies and sides - it was tiring, but yummy and worth the effort - kimpitang - trendy dish very popular atm - tangsuyuk is not necessarily a difficult dish to make, but it does have a LOT of very specific components - potato starch in water is necessary to make the batter for the meat (and NOT flour) - you mix the starch with water, then let it settle for 10 minutes or so, then dump the water (saving some to thicken the sauce), and leaving the quicksand-like starch left in the bowl (the cement at the bottom of the bowl was the way it was supposed to be) - you add egg yolk to that and mix to make a sticky batter, then dredge the strips of meat through it - makes the batter a thin layer, but EXTREMELY crispy and light once fried - the sauce for tangsuyuk is chock full of sugar and ingredients like vinegar that makes it smell AWFUL while it's cooking, and, as you can see, it tastes awful as well at first - once the sugars have melted, and the flavors of the ingredients meld and thicken, it becomes a very complex, syrupy, sweet and sour, but very tasty sauce - it just takes patience to get there to that place - when it comes to Korean cooking, there are different types of soy sauce - Jin used normal table soy sauce, but what he needed was soup soy sauce, which has a deeper umami flavor, and a slightly different flavor and color - tteokgalbi - tteok is rice cake, galbi is short ribs (the beef short ribs you guys made to celebrate JK's birthday) - historically, it was unacceptable for the king of Korea to dirty his hands by picking up the meat, so they removed the meat from the ribs, and pounded and minced it as you would rice cake, and reformed the tenderized ground beef into patties and pan fried that with the galbi marinade - in this recipe, it looks like they used some form of canned ham, perhaps even Spam, in place of the more expensive beef, as well as adding some diced onion, black pepper, and panko bread crumbs, turning the dish historically made for royalty into a more budget friendly dish

Let's see haha Also, yes, Tae was very introspective in this episodes and if I'm not mistaken they filmed a few of episodes this day so yeah, i think they were pretty tired too!! I found it adorable how Taehyung loved the dish and Jin was like "don't worry, i can make it for you anytime" ๐ฅบ๐ฅบ Excited for Friday familia, see you soon ๐๐ P.s.: Familia, did you watch Jk's live??
