Familia we are finalizing American Hustle life today with BTS performing for the first time in L.A.
So beautiful to see their first performance in LA compared to the latest one in 2019 at Rose Bowl! They performed for 2 nights and they were sold out! The beautiful growth! ๐
We really enjoyed seeing the mentors who helped them grow in this series show up for their performance, and we absolutely loved the heartwarming farewell.
Just in 2-3 weeks, we got to witness the BTS members grow. So proud of them and their bravery.
Thank you so much familia for rewatching this with us or for watching this for the first time along with us! As always we hope we were good company and you had a good time. We purple you and we'll see you soon! ๐

And i had so much fun rewatching this with you guys, you shared different insights and perspectives from when i watched this as a baby army and that just made all the hard to watch scenes a little bit bearable. But i agree that if you get past all that, there such great moments and lessons to unpack from the series, so i hope every army who has skeptics on watching AHL gives it a chance. :) QOTD: My DVD is still yet to arrive and will probably arrive, at the earliest, on October. I've seen couple short clips being shared by armys on twitter but will watch the whole thing with you guys for the first time. Also it was kinda funny because army initially thought last year that there's not gonna be enough content for Memories 2020 because of the cancellation of the tour and all their plans all of a sudden came to a full stop, but now upon release, Memories 2020 is actually the longest out of all the memories dvds. Hahaha. I. AM. EXCITED.!! :D

I thoroughly enjoyed watching each and every episode, but most especially this last episode, with you familia ๐ฅบ๐ Fun fact: the editor and creator (aneesa) of the rise of bangtan docuseries was actually in line for this LA concert but was cut off because she was like the 207th and they only let in 200 armys. Istg, if you were one of the armys there, you are a legend ๐๐๐

2021-08-28 08:44:17 +0000 UTCI'm like just into the first 2 minutes of this ep but the scenes remind me of their old interviews where they revealed that after the shooting was over, they couldn't go to sleep or rest but went to a garage to record the tracks of their next album, Dark and Wild. Also they practiced the choreo of the title song Danger all night (Recording and preparing for their next album was another big reason Bang pd sent the boys, Pdogg and Son to LA). Some of them just fell asleep in the garage after the long practice was over almost in the morning... They said filming AHL was a really good experience but they were actually tired af๐ข๐ No wonder in AHL all of them looked so sleepy every morning

2021-08-28 08:16:02 +0000 UTCAHL gets a lot of hate, and while it's justified for some instances in the show, I feel like the good outweighs the bad. For every Coolio there was a Warren G. The plane owner was an A-hole, but Iris and FAAHZ were amazing. Dante was annoying af, but Tony and Nate were good mentors to the boys. I feel like ppl don't give the show enough credit for the good moments. Also, the concept behind this show really meant a lot to me when I was first getting to know them. Ppl often just take hip-hop as a joke with no value, but it's sooo much more than that (and I honestly wish they would've gone more in-depth with the history), but this series helped the boys see the variety of hip-hop culture. I'm also a black American from Inglewood, CA lol so seeing the boys strolling through LA just makes me happy. I'm really grateful you guys didn't skip over it like many ppl suggested. ๐

AHL gets an bad rep but if you look past the bad there is an lot of good in this show. i have watched some of memories 2020, ive been so busy so i havenโt had time.

2021-08-28 05:14:58 +0000 UTCthe thank u speeches and journals of the members got me crying.. when i saw yoongi getting teary eyes and all of them speak from the heart, it was so pure so genuine and real u can just tell๐ฅบ tae writing "i miss dad" or jin's "if it wasn't for bangtan i can't even imagine this experience" and namjoon's "we are all the same people" ...their words touch me in such a different way

I cried a little ๐ Thank you for watching it and "making" me watch it too because like I said in the first episode, i never watched all of it because i watched the first episodes and some parts of last episode (like the boy and the employers being rude) and was quick to judge so I never finished, but thank you for this experience!! There is some moments here and there that i didn't like obviously but it's a good experience and it had really good moments too!! I'm really really excited for next week because the first thing on the memories is BangBangCon and Idk if you saw it last year but I'm sooo excited for your reaction!! See you soon familia, borahae ๐๐ P.S.: idk if you noticed but the rap yoongi did in "Oh happy day" it's his part in "Tomorrow"
