Wow, we're already on the second to last episode of American Hustle Life familia!
We're so glad we took the chance to watch this series! It was very captivating to see a very young BTS come to America to learn about Hip-Hop music and culture.
The members seem to have taken it all in with open minds and overall with lots of respect... We wish some other people were taught respect...lol. We're so proud of them! ππ They handled themselves so well and also seemed to have learned a lot. :)
This episode was a bit hard to watch but we had faith that it would end with some type of positive message and it did very much end in a gratifying way. π

2021-08-30 20:24:41 +0000 UTCI actually like this episode. There are cringy parts, yes, but there are also a lot of good/funny parts of it. The one thing that does bother me from the production/tutors is the assumption that they haven't "worked hard" before. Like for some of the members, like Jin, V, Jimin, and Jungkook, haven't ever needed to work part-time jobs to make enough money for basic living costs. But it also felt insensitive to make Suga "struggle" through working a part-time job so he could "learn what it's like" when he had to work multiple part-time jobs while going to school just to effort rent as a teenager. Even his shoulder injury has been such a painful memory, both physically and mentally, and it came from working a part-time job to survive. Even with J-Hope, he's talked about the struggles of his parents working multiple jobs when he was a kid before. So I don't think there was anything wrong with the idea and theme of the episode, but trying to push the idea that they "don't know what's it's like" (especially towards the members who do) felt kinda off.

2021-08-23 18:28:57 +0000 UTCthis is one of the episodes that makes me kinda emotional. when the members had to clean and work hard for the money, it just reminded me of my mom... she was born in turkey but after she got married she moved to germany, a completely strange place, she couldn't speak the language, didn't have good enough school qualifications, and after getting cheated on with 3 kids, she had to clean for over 5 years, in hotels, hospitals to earn money and make a living... she got sick and injured many times from bending so much and just cleaning. that's why watching this episode rly reminds me of her tough times, bc she also got treated bad by other ppl, got looked down by them. so i think the members did an amazing job by being patient, calm and doing their best as always

I'm sorry you found this episode hard to watch because I was super excited since the Jimin vs manager vs 14 year old scenes are pretty iconic in the fandom. I thought that it was a bit funny though I didn't like them putting grime on Jimin's face. I did get a feeling that the airport guy and yacht guy were putting on a bit which is also why I just kinda laughed it off. I think aside from Yoongi and Seokjin, the other members never had a job before so their first job is literally BTS which is insane to think about.

I always get emotional when I watch it and we all know that the members really took their advices to the heart!! I think, saying he was told to be strict so maybe all of the "employers" were told that, that's why they were being so rude and stuff but still makes me kinda mad... And yes, i know it's a kid but i love the part where Jimin says he would slap his neck if he could π

But I think LA would be one of the cool places to visit if I ever do get the chance to go Iiβm watching the primier of episode 14 of TROB familia. Will get back here as soon as its finishedβ¦ another great episode! Im so excited for you guys to continue with this docuseries and see the latest episodes π€
