Hello again familia!! 💜
In today's reaction we are finalizing the solo songs on the WINGS album consisting of First Love by Suga, Refection by RM, MAMA by JHope , and Awake by Jin.
While listening and learning about the lyrics to these songs we were very inspired and got a little bit in our feels lol. We hope you guys enjoy and feel just as inspired after listening to their music with u. :)

Familia, why did I cried watching this T^T, the emotions build by 4 emotional songs and your reaction was too much to handle T^T. And I remember Awake was made when Jin feels like he was less talented compared to other members, BUT this man is AMAZING

2021-06-08 16:44:04 +0000 UTCthis style of Yoongi's song writing always gets me, where he always talks from the perspective of his subject, here with his piano, when he talk in the perspective of the radio in Song Request and ofcourse when he talked in the perspective of his shadow in Interlude: Shadow., He puts such emotions and stories even in non-living things that most people would deem as emotionless. Man! Yoongi and his genius mind!! I love him!!!!

It really showed that what he was expressing is genuine and true-to-life, I also love the part where the Piano was talking back to him saying that even though Suga left him and that whatever form it takes, it will always be by his side. I can clearly see and feel the story he was telling us, It just hits me every time I listen to that song.

I remember crying watching them perform these songs live. These set of solos from all 7 are I think the darkest and deepest compared to their other solo releases.

It's really a different feeling when you watch them for the very first time, and you watch these performances, and listen and read about these songs again. Because now, I got to know them better, I feel closer. and it really just hit different. I love the Love Yourself series and the Hyyh, but nothing can replace WINGS album in my heart. This album is such an important part of my life. I met them during WINGS and I was experiencing the darkest days of my life during that time. At first I used them as a distraction to the personal hell I'm going through but as I grow older with them, I started to heal and these songs really made more sense to me now, these songs were my friends, my pillow that hugs me at night. Thank you for doing these reactions, appreciate it so much. 💜 Sorry for the long comment. 😢

2021-06-07 12:01:43 +0000 UTCStarted crying during awake! Jin vocals and the lyrics are so beautiful. I don’t know if you caught the applause at the end of the performance. This isn’t something that usually happens. It almost rare to see applause and a standing ovation. So for Jin to get that goes to show how powerful his voice is. This also happened in Japan and in Japan the audience culture is a lot different from other countries and for Jin to get that applause was momentous. An applause in Japan is the highest form of respect a performer can get.

2021-06-07 10:51:56 +0000 UTCi didn´t expect to cry right at the beginning... first love is so emotional, yoongi has always been so open and honest with his emotions, never afraid to show he´s hurting and being vulnerable. the fact that he doesn't talk about a person but about a piano being his first love is so artistic and beautiful.. the way he raps, his breathing and gasping, the pauses and the build up is so intense and brings such powerful emotions out of u😔

Please do have a read https://www.quora.com/What-do-you-think-of-Sugas-Wings-solo-First-Love. Another thing is during NAMJOON’s “ I wish I could have loved myself” armys were chanting “ we love you” it wasn’t “ Kim namjoon” but the audio was just bad. Mama holds a special place in my heart too 😭 the lyrics is just soo beautiful. I’m pretty sure hobi mentioned his mum crying when he performed this in their wings concert when their family attended. Jin’s awake I don’t even have the words to explain how beautifully he sounds. It’s a shame the translations were off so I hope you guys still read the translation on doolset or other army translators on Twitter like @choi_bts2 or @doyou_bangtan @minimoniT_T they usually translate things quick and keep a thread of things so if u can’t find translations just check them out on Twitter.

2021-06-07 07:39:19 +0000 UTCkorean is quite exquisite language + also the members often use poetic expressions, so it's hard to translate. i understand. but the color coded videos are just frequently wrong in very one-dimensional expressions. like writing "you" and "me" in reverse.. the translators doesn't even seem to understand korean. it's like they just use a translator and then modify some awkward parts arbitrarily. nevertheless, they always get huge views. i really wish ppl stop to watch them. the lyrics are really really important when it comes to bts, so i want their words are delivered intact. it's so sad that many of the translations deviate from their intended meaning.

2021-06-07 06:33:28 +0000 UTCas a korean i would say those lyrics videos are not really good. the subtitles on the live performance(in jhope and jin's) were rather more accurate(but not perfect either.) so sad because the correct translations are only in posts, so it's hard to read it in sync with the song. there has never been an proper youtube lyrics video that I've seen so far. especially the color coded lyrics videos are just mess. they seem to focus on just uploading quickly for the views, and don't even care about the quality of translations.

I wish you had watched the video where Namjoon sings "YES I DO LOVE MYSELF" because wow, chills... Also, army's were saying "we love you" and i think this video has a bad audio too :(( but it's ok The first performance of Mama was on Hobi's birthday and his mom was there... It was so emotional and he cried :(( I absolutely love Awake and i still get the chills whenever I hear Jin high notes!!! And i think you guys didn't notice but at the end he got lots of applause from army's, which is not a common thing so yeah, that's the impact that Jin has with this masterpiece! Today was a REALLY emotional day, família, wow!! I can't wait to next Sunday, and Wednesday too! And to see you on YouTube in between!! 💜 P.s.: i love Namjoon Performance here in Brazil, but unfortunately there's no video with good quality:((
