We stan this hard, gritty, and unapologetic Agust D! We absolutely loved his lyrics and how he was able to tell us his story through his lyrics. Being doubted, being an underdog, BUT NOW LOOK AT HIM!! He had a lot to say to the doubters and haters! WE LOVE THIS SIDE OF SUGA AND LOVE THIS ENERGY!! It invigorates us!! 😂🔥

I'm not sure if you will see this since it's so late, but one line in The Last that is very interesting to me is when he mentions 'Min Yoongi is already dead'. I think this is very interesting because Yoongi doesn't call himself 'Yoongi', he always refers to himself as 'Suga', even casually. The other members and people call him 'Yoongi', but he always say 'Min Suga' as if 'Suga' is his real name. Looking at how he words it in the song and how he doesn't normally say 'Yoongi', I wonder if he associates, or at least at this time, associated 'Yoongi' with his past and the hardships in it. Which is maybe the reason why he even casually will call himself 'Suga'.

He's scared to talk about his struggles, he works hard for the money which like artists afraid to say it out load, the critics/haters, his dream. His lyrics give us so much insights to get to know him as him. The different vibe and tones of his voice, just love it. He's so talented, no doubt. It's great to see the vocal lines got involved as well, love those live performances. These songs are the babies of Yoongi and him letting Jimin and the vocal line to ft. or sing it, it just show the confidence/trust he has for them to perform his solo songs. (have to mention about Jimin- my god, his rusty voice... EVERYTIME it gets me! What can't he handle? he can give you the crazy high notes with the soft image of him, then the next minute he shows you this side of being rough/manly. I don't think I've seen JK, Jin nor Tae did the same

I am so happy he ended the song and the mixtape in general with a positive note and an "I'm fine now". IT MADE ME HAPPY

It just hit me that it's crazy why we havent suggested you guys to check out the MV teasers before watching the MV. There are numerous times where the teaser always throws army off because it sounds nothing like the song when it drops. That's why you'll always see tweets like this on twitter when a teaser drops where armys are baffled if the song would sound like the teaser or as always they'd flip it 360 on us hahaha. 2021-04-26 23:09:21 +0000 UTCOn a personal note i feel like, for me, The Last is really the representative track of this mixtape. Same as to how he ended the mixtape with So Far Away. It's like he laid all of his struggles on us first, showed us his broken pieces but then re-assured us that he's doing okay now and that he has survived his darkest times. And I really appreciate him for sharing his vulnerability. I'm sure he comforted and helped a lot of armys who also suffer from depression, anxiety or really having a hard time with their mental state and showing them what he went through and that he's proof that it does get better. So thank you Yoongi for this great mixtape and I hope you heal many more people with these songs up until this day.. :)

They make it seem like rappers, esp idol rappers, have to do the show to prove that they're the real deal because of that "old school" stereotype of idol rappers are not real rappers cos they dont write their own songs or they wear make up bla bla. And i honestly hate that up until this day, like we're in 2021, and yet this stereotype still follows idols including our boys.

SMTM is a rap competition where a lot of rappers and idol rappers go to gain reputation and prove their skills. A guess as to why he said this is because yoongi didn't want to have to prove that he was a real rapper, when he already was. SMTM is pretty shady anyway and idol rappers get a lot of hate on the show too - there is another version of so far away with jin and jungkook. this version came out during the 2017 festa and yoongi had said that the sound of the version was closer to what he first wanted when making the mixtape - suran is a soloist. yoongi actually produced a track for her called "Wine" and it topped the charts. it did so well. suran won best r&b in the 2017 MMAs and her and yoongi won best producer award as well. i believe this is when the "hands of midas" nickname for yoongi started cus every song he has produced has become a hit. you should check out the song in your free time!! it's amazing loved this!! can't wait for the upcoming mixtape reactions

It's generally agreed that the part they bleeped out on the last is where the doctor asked him if he had ever been suicidal which is why he says he unhesitatingly replied that yes he had been like that sometimes. Also, because I know you guys love watching behind the scenes videos there are behind the scenes videos for his music videos for this album. You should definitely look those up 💜🙂

You should have also reacted to the proper version of So Far Away with JK and Jin! (And Yoongi ofc) The version with JK and Jin is like 100000000000000000x better than the one with Suran and it's the version that pretty much everyone (like 99% of Army) including myself much prefers and actually wish was on the official mixtape instead 😅 (Pleeeeaaaase still react to this version Familia! He had been a famous producer/ song-writer in Korea since mid-1990s, Bang PD and JYP (Jin-Young Park of YJP entertainment) were known as ‘partners’ - the pair often worked together as a songwiring/ producing duo. After JYP founded his company JYP Entertainment, Bang PD joined the company and worked as a composer and producer. JYP and Bang PD produced many successful songs together during this period. As Bang PD was a co-producer (with JYP) of one of the most best-selling and popular Korean boy bands of the early 2000s, - G.O.D. – both of Bang PD and JYP earned the reputation as ‘hit makers’ and that is Bang PD’s stage name ‘Hitman Bang’ from. In 2005, Bang PD left JYP Entertainment and founded his own company, Big Hit Entertainment. Last year, JYP was at a Korean talk show (’Radio Star’) and talked about a ‘fight’ with Bang PD. They were in the U.S. – early 2000s - trying to sell their songs. However, they could not sell many songs for one year and they had really hard time. Is that the person who wrote 'Like Being Hit by a Bullet' by Baek Jiyoung'?? - That is not a Bulletproof reference. The Song - Like being Hit by a bullet - is one of the most famous songs that Bang PD wrote. That was how Yoongi recognized Bang PD back then, maybe.... 'Oh.. is that the guy who wrote the song?'
