What Namjoon said in the Dick Clark Video about it being two years since they performed outdoors is obviously not true because they've been doing stadium that are... outdoors. But I think what he meant was that it has been two years since they performed on New Years outdoors. (Please correct me if I'm wrong but that is the only explanation I could come up with)

QOTD: Blue and Grey and Fix You. I am a big fan of Fix you so I was so exciting to hear them are doing the cover and they did amazingly well! It is sad to think about the 2019/2020 New York performance is the most recent public (outdoor) performance by BTS. I am really hoping to be in the concert and meet the boys as soon as possible. Btw Thanks for the 700 minutes :) I enjoy it a lot!

Remember they don't show everything in these memories dvds. they didn't travel straight from la to new york, they were back in korea in between. they do sooo much more than we see, that's why they're so tired.

There's also Shinhwa, which celebrated its 22nd anniversary last year!:) I remember when BTS renewed their seven year exclusive contract with Big Hit. When an agency renews a contract, it usually renews for 1~3 years after the contract ends, but BTS signed a new seven year contract with about a year and a half left on their contract. The year 2018 when the contract was renewed was the most difficult year for the members to think of disbanding (LYS:Tear album came out), and it was even more touching to know that the promise for the next seven years was never made easily.. #7MoreYearsOfBTS

I'm sad for them being alienated but it's really wild to think about how they must seem to people unfamiliar with them. To us they're lovable 7 people with distinct personalities, interests, and styles who get to make music with their brothers but to outsiders they must come across so mysterious. It's a shame how stuffy and fake the Hollywood music culture is but BTS must feel like a huge enigma to them. They just don't get them :/

When I get sad thinking about what 2020 could have been for BTS I think about their accomplishments last year. Big Hit reported that the group made more than they were projected to make if they went on tour, they became Grammy nominated artists, and released two number 1 songs. We got new content from them almost every month, and they celebrated 7 years together. It wasn't ideal but BTS made the most out of it and that's what makes me happy for them. We will see them again. I look at groups like SHINee and Super Junior who have been together 13+ years. BTS is still halfway there.

some army are always complaining that bts never go to big events and they even blame big hit for not letting them, but seeing how uncomfortable they were at the hitmakers brunch it's so clear that they don't like attending those things. they really feel alienated when they don't have army to cheer for them

It's hard to watch the Hit Makers Variety Brunch and not think about all the bad stuff that came with it that year. Now it's a year later and it's still happening. Thankfully ARMY is always here to try and protect the guys the best we can. So sad for memories to be over but I look forward to the next series!💜

QOTD- Fix you has to be the biggest surprise on MTV unplugged. Just too angelic & beautiful. its crazy that they were choosen to do the opening + the NYE performance. we & BTS know they are big but when you see they performed at Time Square got their faces on those advertisements. (i mean we know it's ARMYs prepared for them but still)

Yes , I would say that the new years performance was the last time they performed in front of army . They came back to the US to film ON mv/ Black swan mv. The beginning of 2020 was more like interviews they did /talk shows. They went back to Korea where they supposed to have there first start of the Mots 7 concert/tour in April but that was all postponed . We all know what happend since then.

qotd- blue & grey, that song is just so beautiful and the comment about jingle ball being a bts concert I can 100% assure you it was lol I went (for bts) and 80% were definitely army. We had side seats and it was really fun because we got to see their warmup before going on stage and saw their group chant in person! So so happy I went because they were so good and it ended up being my last concert before the pandemic hit.

Also YESSSSS ROOKIE KING!!! I'm so excited. It's really funny! I watched it really early into stanning so Korean entertainment was really new to me and it was a little difficult to relate to (aesthetically and humor-wise) so be prepared to feel like the narration and editing is a little (maybe a lot) over-the-top but the boys are the boys as usual and an absolute joy to watch so you'll really enjoy it too, I'm sure!

Hobi did steal the show in that white suit. On the Red Carpet for the event the press people asked him to go to the center and he's normally on the end and it was cute, he was so shy about it but JK was like "yeah j-hope center, let's go!" and made him go to the center. So he really was getting a lot of attention in the white suit. haha
