Should I write a new story?

It's just that when I read my old drafts in my free time and when I felt I didn't want to do anything, one of my old stories caught my attention. I don't know if I have tell you, but I already write fanfics since I was a high schooler. But I didn't publish most of them.
And this story is about an MMA. a boy that wants to be an MMA athlete. Yes, MMA. I do really like sport, and MMA is one of my favourite beside football. And the heroine is a girl who dreams becoming a singer. Basically, it's a sport, action, SoL story, but with a little romance.
However, I only have 1 chapter right now because if I remember correctly, I wrote this when I was about one month before my final exam.
So, what do you think guys?

Ofc im also a massive makhachev fan. And as you know he's a phenomenal striker along with his crazy grappling. Tbh rather than focusing on just one aspect of the game i feel like a well rounded approach would make the fights more interesting when you write them.

But I don't think I'll write a story like Leon, Khabib, or Islam that experienced such a tough life. I mean, that kind of story is great and many MMA fighters come from such a background. The one that I want to write is a rich boy, come from a wealthy family, a noble family, but he can't find his place on that environment. But he find his passion in combat sport instead. However, many things opposed him. The thing I want to highlight is how the MC and heroine find their place. And I'm happy you are an MMA fan and it seems you're a Leon's fan. But just in case, the story i write maybe more focused on grappling. I mean, of course the MC will learn how to throw a punch. But his background is judo, like, the combat judo, not the olympic one that nerfed it to the point many MMA casual fans think it's ineffective in MMA and inferior against BJJ. So, he'll use grappling more often than striking.
