2020-08-08 16:16:12 +0000 UTCUN speech was during their NY/NJ tour. The park was Central Park. JHope and Jimin shopped in SOHO. After the speech they continued their world tour. Citified wasn't part of your schedule. It was a special stadium concert. The boys came back to NYC in Oct to do the Citified concert. I was lucky to be able to see them at the Prudent center and Citified.

BTS were the youngest recipients in history to receive South Korea's Order of Cultural Merit award in 2018. This award is given by the Korean Government and the president for outstanding services in the field of culture and Art and for promoting Korean culture globally to the rest of the world. It has also just been announced that BTS will also be recieving the James A. Van Fleet Award and again will be the youngest recipients in history to do this. This award is Korean Society's highest honour and will be in recognition of their outstanding contribution to the promotion of US-Korea relations. This award has only ever been awarded to war veterans, business men, presidents and ministers. So BTS being the only musicians to be honoured this award is a BIG DEAL. So to summarise it all, BTS are the youngest recipient of the cultural merit award, they are UN speakers, mentioned as TIME's most influential people, they are UNICEF anti violence campaign's ambassadors and will now be getting the highest honor, the James A. Van Fleet award by Korean Society - all this in just their twenties. BTS are again proving to the rest of the world that they aren't just a boy band but they are cultural icons. I have said this before and I'll say it again. BTS aren't making history. THEY ARE HISTORY!

You should do a series after Bring the Soul, maybe! I first heard of BTS August 26th, 2018 and then I went to see them in Citi Field about 5 weeks later on October 6th, 2018. I went alone bc I didn't know anyone else who knew BTS (but everyone was SO NICE) and it was literally the best night of my life. Not to sound corny but I felt myself change. The atmosphere was incredible. I screamed and cried and laughed and danced til my body ached and I didn't want it to end. Seeing the Citi Field footage is always so emotional for me because of that. It was so special and overwhelming. And for QOTD, 10. I don't have many skills but public speaking is one of them. I actually became an attorney bc I felt like that would be a good way to get to speak in front of people often. I really enjoy it.

As Namjoon said it’s like one of the highest honors not just for them but for their ancestors and for the next generation to come. Today BH announced that bts will be awarded Korea Society’s highest honor, the James Van Fleet Award. Beyond their achievements in music, I know their families are super proud of them.

Definitely one of my favourite projects from BTS. Every single song is PURE GOLD, and the lyricism is just insane. What an artist.

Their solo work is mind blowing, every member has their own unique taste and talent. Mono was actually one of the biggest/best mixtapes that armys even believed it could have gotten a nomination for a Grammy alone, its beautiful, i cant even put into words but that mixtape helped me on a personal level.
