DRAWING WEEK 45 - ATTACK ON TITAN

Now, when I write this description, I don't know how all of this is gonna end, I didn't watch the final episode of Attack On Titan yet. You know what I think of the entire situation, of Eren comitting a genocide right now and he's conscient of the horror that it is, no one can deny it. And it's rough, because we saw this kid growing up, suffering, we can see his reasons to act, without agreeing with them.
For me, Part 2 is gonna four our characters being forced to respond to the big question : what you are now, what you are doing, is it really matching with what you dreamed of ? And clearly, Eren fools himself by thinking what is doing now is freedom, but he sees himself as a kid, he thinks he's pleasing that kid, accomplishing what we wanted. But Eren, you're not flying over a beautiful landscape, you're flying over millions of bodies, of people you killed, and you're all alone, without people you love and you should share that fake freedom with.
That's why, for this drawing to close this week in which we finished the anime, I wanted to make that drawing. Because I love Eren, since he's a kid, and I loved the fact this kid just wanted to be free. But this moment is also representing what is wrong : he's not that kid anymore, he's now that Titan killing everyone. Let's remember that kid and please, Eren, connect with that kid, for real, because I'm pretty sure he would not love to commit all of this pain.
