I knew that we would have that discussion about D's Death between Avon and Stringer in this season, but I was not prepared to have it like that. We needed it because Stringer and Avon were really not on the same page about the business, one wearing his suit and trying to focus on the legal aspect, choosing to just talk with the enemies, when the other one was mad at people not respecting them, being okay to declare a war and who just took a bullet for it. And it was gonna be discovered soon, with Brianna asking questions and that close to saying it herself to Avon.
